crixus is by far better fighter than spartacus. no arguement there. only times spartacus beats crixus is when he gets lucky or when crixus is injured.

Gnaeus was supposed to fight Crixus. He was waiting 5 years for his shot at the primus. Spartacus stole Gnaeus' spot, and then he threw Gnaeus off a cliff and killed him.

No, it wouldn't, Some gladiators are killed in training as examples. Others die from the training, become lax from pushing the human body to such limits that it can't even be something healthy, but more destructive for the muscles and ligaments. Some of the deaths are so slow and painful, like having your intestines slowly pushed into and then pulled out, or having your jugular ripped out from your throat. Not to mention, gladiators have a VERY short life span.
