  • It had recently been bored out to 919. But I replaced all seals, gaskets, o-rings, and cooling parts that had corrosion, oil pump, spark plugs, new wires, AMSOIL oil, basically everything except the big stuff like the crank and case, etc. The cams had recently been upgraded also.

And I had about 2grand in it.

  • What do you mean by fully rebuilt?

    Rods, pistons, rings, bearings etc?

How much do you think you had into your rebuild?

  • How did it work out? Want to know where the engine number is on a kawasaki zx 9, 1999?

  • A few years back i was givven this exact same engine to do with what i wanted. After seeing some vids of people shoe horning street bike engines in gokarts i figured i've always wanted a shifter kart so i started fabing one up. By the time i was 80% done with the chassis, common sence, logic and the will to live made me reconcider the whole power to weight ratio thing. In the end i threw an 82' RM250 32HP on it. 32HP is a handful, i cant imagine 130HP!

    nice work!

Hope to see vid when done!

  • That is making quite some noise! I love to hear though :D
