  • did you find the travel swing something you never used "you didn't travel much", or that it didn't work well and was not practical or he grew out of it too fast?

  • @kardancer1 We just always used his bigger swing, bigger swing lasted longer was more powerful and he liked that it rocked side to side and the travel swing didn't do that.

  • True

  • It IS interesting how some babies use almost no bibs!! My grandson literally went through 4 to 6 little drool bibs a day when teething!! Otherwise the necks of his shirts would be SOAKED through to his skin! Now, at 14 months-- he needs a new bib--LARGE size-- for each meal, especially when he is helping feed himself!

And, I can never have enough of the hangars that have the 'grooves" at the top! I have lots of overalls for him and the straps fall off the ones that don't have those!

  • I really like the high chair that sits on the dining room chair!

  • Can you do a review on your nursing cover? I would love to see how it works. My daughter HATES!! to have her head covered

  • you are soo right about bibs Ariana uses a new one each time she eats and everytime she wakes up from a nap she gets a new bib also. we use a lot. I just used a changing pad on my dresser, I still use it and she is almost 6 months. Swaddles with velcro are really great too.

  • Great video darling!

  • It's so crazy how different everyone is in what they need or don't need. This was fun to watch and hear what you guys used and didn't use.

  • @dreamflight6000 I know!

  • I also totally agree with you on the bath soap and lotions. Now granted Ella was bald when she was born so our bath soap which is Huggies shea butter (love this stuff!!) lasted us 9 months! We did get the bath squirters for a baby shower gift we didn't use those till about 6 mos old. We have about 30 washclothes and she is 18 mos old and some have not even been used! Julian is a cutie!!!! Yes that is my advice too, to enjoy being just a couple I miss this alot!

  • @Aliwisha1 Thanks! Yeah, we got those bath squirties as a gift too.. I think that is a pretty common gift! :o) Julian loves those.. we have a HUGE tub/container filled with bath toys, it's insane how many we got!

  • I didn't know Ella was going to be so small so I didn't get a lot of newborn clothes. Ella was in newborn clothes until she was about 6 weeks too! I got many bibs and burp clothes and hardly used any. Ella was not a spit up baby though so its different with every baby. I love our pack and play with the changing table. The shade on our car seat was awful too! Ours was a Graco but other that I love our travel system.

  • @Aliwisha1 I couldn't believe how long he fit into his newborn clothes! He still wears 0-3 some 3-6 month clothes and he's 6 months old! lol

  • Don't get the bibs with the plastic linning till they are eating food. Most of the equipment that you named can be found gently used a Once Upon a Child and when they are ready for some new item you can sell it back and get something else. Like we went from a bouncy chair to a exersaucer. Once they grow out of it get rid of it cause it will take up space. Also never buy more than 4- 5 newborn size clothes unless you have a premie. start at 3-6 and up.

  • @Ejahi I don't get any bibs with the plastic lining.. I don't like that kind. I am keeping all of our baby items for our future children. My son was in newborn clothes until he was 6 weeks old so we had to go out and buy a TON of newborn clothes for him.

  • @JenNTim509 I guess every baby is different. My babies were all born within the 7lbs range and almost doubled there birth weight by there first appointment. I am one of those moms that didn't get much of chance to use the newborn clothes. As far as the bibs I wasn't impling that you use the bibs with the plastic I was just pointing it out for new mothers who might not know there are differences in bib types. I know you mentioned the color thing that was a good tip. I wish I knew that at first.

  • i would love to use a sleep gown with julianna, but i fear that when she flips onto her stomach ( which she has been doing a ton ) that because her legs are together in a sack she wont flip back over---- what do you think i should do?? at night she tends to get a lil cold just in a long sleeve onesie and pants..

  • @MaRiSa22Bunny I would think she'd be able to flip back over.. try it during the day while you can monitor her to find out! :o)

  • Awesome that you mentioned the sleep sacks and telling moms-to-be not to put blankets in the crib. Such a good thing for people to know!

  • @hawkeyegirl2003 Thanks.

  • Julian has got so big. Cool video.

  • @ilovehandbags06 I know.. Thanks!

  • hehe the toy behind your had looks like horns :) Great vid! I will try to do this vid too! I also use the boppy to practice siitting. I AGREE with the bibs- TONS. I need to buy more. We haven't really used the small swing either. xoxo

  • @Ajpeartree haha It does, funny!!

  • @Ajpeartree It's funny b/c Henry didn't wear a bib until we fed him solids in the high chair and only ever used them for eating. He wasn't a spitter uper and never drooled much. These are fun videos b/c everyone is so different in what they needed or didn't need. My list would be so different. :) I'll be fun to see you video!

  • I love the sleep gowns! They are soooo handy. I used to nanny for a lady my mom worked with & I used those them with her little boy. They make diaper changes so much easier! Thanks for the vid.

  • @brittanykay22109 Yes they do! I LOVE LOVE LOVE those! :o)
