Great video. I also find that wearing a soft pink blush plumps out my cheeks and having an assymetric long fringe/bangs really helps too. I can have a full fringe as my hair is too wavy and won't lie flat. I love my long hair but keep a lot of width at the sides which balances the length.

I disagree with the contouring. Why would you contour the sides and highlight the middle? That would make the face longer.

You can have long hair with an oblong face, you just have to make sure there's volume to it. So don't go chop off your hair because of this video.

I have this face shape! I hate it! my face is so long and I have a big forehead, and my jaw line is chubby-ish like in the picture.... Maybe it's cause I have a chubby face? I don't know but I cannot put my bangs up when I need to, (for sports) because it looks so bad and that makes it hard to play sports! I can't even do a middle part because it just looks terrible....and my eyebrows are darker than my hair naturally and they just worsen it. Ok I'm done complaining....lol :P

One extra tip, use curls to add width and soften the face, it works really well for me.

As for the hair, it doesn't necessarily have to be short or have bangs. I have hip length hair and have found that a side part makes my face look much wider :)

For those of us with a truly oblong/long face, those sunglasses will not be narrow enough. My face would drown in those.

I see oval faces in most of the examples you show. Liv Tyler was the exception.

I do like the eybrow tip, and agree with the hairstyle recommendations, but I really don't have enough face for the makeup contouring you show. I just use light blush across where my cheekbones should be and use some on my forehead hairline to reduce the amount of pale forehead.
