13031986 If you watched the movie, you missed quite a bit,. It was simply a movie about a well planned robbery/subterfuge. As far as Albanians were concerned.. The only angle that applied was confusion. Florina Petcu is a pretty hot example of that if she's even Albanian. All BS aside if I hooked up with someone like that I'd be leary of getting my wallet or jewelry stolen by a gypsy like that.. You ask a lot of questions of WHY? according to spike lee it wasn't. in fact denzel's character even says, "this ain't no bank robbery." apparently spike lee was going for a jewish/war crimes revenge story and the "evils of big business & war profiteering" dressed up with all the bells and whistles and appearances of a bank robbery movie. idk...seems like a bit of a stretch yet still reasonable. i guess it can be enjoyed for which ever theme you're into.
