@Yuna111222BackUp - Not really a plot hole. You never really _saw_ Luke die in the game. Also, considering the Seventh Fonon is what's used for healing, and Lorelei/Luke/Asch are all basically the Seventh Fonon, I'm not sure they can die so easily.

Anyway, the person who comes back in the end is generally assumed to be a combination of Luke and Asch, which is hinted at in the sidequests about the Big Bang that you can do with Dist and Star (the orange cheagle that you find in Ortion Cavern).

@dragonfly876 The way i look at it is Luke and Ashe went with Lorelei into the fon belt and in the span of 3 years built they're bodies back but into one and i personally like to think that Luke became the " dominant" one (what i mean is he's the one speaking to Tear after the credits). But i like Luke and Tear as a couple seeing as she confessed her love for him before she left.

Supposedly they planned to make the grand fonic hymn an actual move in the game but the idea was discarded it's said you can use a cheat device to unlock it, it's supposedly usueable but does absolutely nothing becuase it was an unfinished and discarded idea Natalia is also said to have a move used for beta testing that's also ulockable through cheat.

if i wanted to play DVDs I'd buy a DVD player, it's way cheaper than any PS2 I've seen. It could only process data because it's processed in a different way which sacrificed a couple of qualities just for larger gamers, and tales of symphonia also came out on the ps2 which proves that tales of symphonia is about the same if not LARGER than tales of the abyss, and it was still on gamecube

ok, tales of symphonia is my favourite game, i never said it was bad, if i did i would hang myself, and the games are much bigger on the ps2 look at tales of symphonia, on the gamecube it needed two discs to hold it, on the ps2, just one, and it even had more stuff than the gamecube version

Yes but in japanese r and l are the same "letter". I mean they are written the same (e.g 'la' and 'ra' has the same hiragana/katakana, so the romanized version can vary. The rei is pronounced lei but the r in the kuroa is clearly noticable.

And I would advice you to play the game...all tales games rock! I used Tear in battle coz she is a healing mage (I like them) and the best is that she uses all the hymns as spells in battle (except the last one). So you keep hearing them a lot of time.

Lol, it's just as unfitting and "WTF??" as [spoiler] when you go to fight Van for the first time at the Absorption Gate, you find him playing some sort of pipe ogran. Almost as corny, but more acceptable because he is supposed to be evil, is Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time who is playing the pipe organ when you find him in his castle. It's so clichéd, and it makes you look "evil," but in a joking sort of way. Van wasn't supposed to be "Evil," and he definitely not a joke either. [/spoiler]

I think that's Ispanian: a language that only exists in this game. It's mentioned a couple throughout the game, so it's highly highly HIGHLY unlikely that you or anyone can translate. I'll admit it's a beautiful song, but the words wil remain a mystery.
