To answer your question 'Charmaine', it's because people know good music when they hear it, plus, all those of the "rank and file", I.E. of the fan clubs, the forums, etc., really took him to heart and while we realise that, like any fallible human, he wasn't perfect, he was well-liked, well-thought of and well-respected, and we loved him - many people have told me that they miss him, and will never forget him - he had that effect on us!!

We tend to forget, 'Minjita42', that he had two other sons, Craig, and Ricci, (and four girls - Claudia, Gail, Deanna and Gina) and Claudia died of breast cancer in 2001 - when I saw a bit in the newspaper telling of it, all I could think was, how fortunate it was that Dean went before her....(no parent should have to see two of their children die)....had he not done so, I am convinced that in only a short time after her, he would have been gone!
