  • what happen to the face area?! perrl

  • Whats it with you guys? have your patients no chest, abdomen or pelvis? what a joke!

  • In my training, this would be done at the end of the secondary survey, after any critical interventions have been performed.

  • Funny Hedger, could I ask a question please. I have just started training myself. When you say critical intervention, do you mean airway, breathing & circulation?

  • Yes.

  • Sorry I answered too quickly. After primary survey (ABC), which may only take a few seconds depending on the situation, any critical interventions are done. By that I mean any life-saving procedures you must do before going further.

  • Thanks FunnyHedger. I was at the early stages of training & everything was completely new to me. I appreciate your reply.

  • Thanks for your videos Capt'n. Some times it is good to watch additional opinions and methods in between drills or class.

  • what about the abdomen and chest?

  • I guess this is more for external injuries maybe? If there's an injury in the torso, it would more likely be internal which would be for a doctor to diagnose when the person got to hospital later on....Although I'm no expert!

  • good
