@TranshumanCyborg Well that is a gross misrepresentation of individualism. Collectivism, however, requires that an individual have duties and burdens that they themselves did not ask for want. What these burdens are is up to the head of the collective, however that may be represented. While a solipsistic view of the world is not off the table, I have yet to meet any individualist who believes they are the only one who exist or who detaches themselves from the rest of the world because of it.

I am an extreme individualist, but that does not mean that I think that the individual should not live in a community if he/she so desires. I believe that an individual should have the freedom to live as they wish so long as they do not violate the rights of others.

We will never have enough food, water, energy or health care until we redesign our world to look at ALL people's needs over a FEW people's profits.
