  • I just chose a HIS ati Radeon 5670 hd with 1gb of GDDR5 vram over geforce 9800 gt with 512mb of ram

did I make a good choice?

  • lol physx is not the real power of nvidia

ati can construct a physic engine not based on havoc engine

  • esse jogo e massa so que ninguem joga online GOGOGO COMPRA 1 PC QUE PRESTE GENTE E GO JOGA ONLINE

  • lol reminds me the demo that of the unreal engine 3

  • Bei mir harkt das game aber ich habe einen von den neuesten pc warum bitte um hilfe ??

  • This sucks compared to 2 gtx 295 and a gts 250 as a phyx card

  • meh - i plan to get an ATI 5970 which beats the crap out of 2 SLi 295's by a long shot.

  • ummm ok but ATI does dot have physX. almost all games are going to use physX witch ATI does not have!

  • @neodymiumTv then u take a nvidia graphic card for example 9800gt which have physx and then u have physx! xD

  • @neodymiumTv

Ok, so if ATI doesn't use physX, and games will mostly come out with physX, and a lot of people use ATI, where is the part where those people make money?

  • @EvilSwordProductions 1, the GTX 480 witch i now have because i sold my 295 is way better then any ATI card.....2 I dont know, they could make ice cream for kids i don't care!!!!

  • I payed around 700 euros for mine and i have the same card :P

  • BROKEN LINK!1111111111

  • the game looks much much worser thene the trailer a year or half year ago (the trailer was awsome with nice grapchices but the game now sucks)

  • do you only destroy building or do you fight too

  • it's a FPS, of course you kill people, and not everything is destructible, say that you're a sniper going to a high area, you don't want enemies to follow you, so you grenade the stairs

  • You fight too.

  • @srdeath117

    Quote from Video comment:

"Warmonger demonstrating physx technology inside the chipset."

  • Im thinking of getting a system. Don't know if its good or not. XPS 630 Intel Core 2 Q8200 (4MB,2.33GHz,1333FSB) Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium Edition SP1,64bit 8GB Duel Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 800MHz(4DIMM) nVidia GeForce 9800 GT 512MB Hard Drive 750GB-7200RPM,SATA 3.0Gb/s,16MB Cache Intergrated 7.1 Channel Audio AGEIA PhysX physics accelerator Mmm yea Sorry I dont know much about systems I already bought it for $1650 CAN Just wanna know if it's gonna play future games. Got Moneys worth?
  • you could have gotten better imo...for much less money, is 1650 can different to USD?

  • Yea its different like

    100$ CAN

    120$ US

  • you coulda got a conciderably better rig mate. check my rig on my channel, that cost about 600USD, that

  • ONLY 600USD???????

    my will cost 1250

  • lmao

  • 118$ Romania(Cnetral Europe)

  • definately :)

  • yes you did

  • Im building the same PC as yous except its 4g ram and im getting a 9800 GTX+ an even better card for only $535 lol

  • i tryed this on a ATI card fuck its hard to run even at 20 fps

  • Yeah ig ot a Nvidia G-force Gainward 9600 card and i can hardly run it, i max at about 20 fps :/ ( I run crysis smoothly on high)

  • I can't wait 'til my gaming rig comes in.

    iBUYPOWER GamerExtreme 535

    AMD Phenom X4 9950(2.6GHz) 64-BIT Processor

    4 x 512KB L2 Cache

    4GB DDR2 800 Memory

    NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT 1GB

    500GB SATAII Hard Drive

    Windows Vista Home Premium 64-BIT

  • I got a noob Q. What is the differance between a. "512"MB 9800 and a "1"GB 9800?

  • 1GB is better for higher resolutions.

  • so basically that guy accused you of going around pasting your specs, you denied it, and then proceeded to do exactly that. You're a pathetic clown.

  • on my pc crysis is running on very high but this game killed my pc on very low

  • are there more than one map for this game?

  • Yes 666Pinhead666 your correct thanks for mentioning.....but that's probably because the GeForce 8800 and 9800 are exactly the same architecture so it doesn't surprise me

  • 9800 gt? supports agia physx?

  • Ageia PhisX is a phisyc card (ppu), how could be supported by a gpu?

  • all the nivida geforce cards 9500 and above show support for PhisX, just bought this same card today from Frys and it says support on the box with downloaded drivers. The chip that company makes was to be integrated in to graphics cards, the PhisX card wasn't selling well on it's own

  • GeForce 8800 Supports PhysiX too ;)

  • So does the 7900 gs :D

Been around but only hit big in the 8 series and onwards

  • 8600 supports it easily.

  • 8 series... 8 600....

    part of the 8 series

and "supports it easily" what does it support? physx? because most nvida cards can support it but the 8600 has a slow read speed so its actually pretty slow compared to a 8800gt

  • 1 thing

    in your description

"running full on 1440x90 at 70fps"

Thats quite a short monitor you got there :D

    Nice vid anyway

  • ""running full on 1440x90 at 70fps"

Thats quite a short monitor you got there :D"

    lol

  • 19"

  • yes it can run GTA 4. im running cod4, wow, and counterstrike source on windows 7 (build 7000(Beta1)) w/ this card and they all run fine.

  • will this card run GTA 4?

  • yeah it will it's 9800 GT 1GB GDDR3

  • Wil it work with 512mb 9800gt?

  • sure doesnt look like 70 fps m8

  • can i play it whit an club hd 3850 card??

  • how large is the community?

  • would this run ok with

    3.56 GHZ processor single core

8600gt 512 MB Nvidia video card

    2 GB ram

    1.12 TB HD 7200

    and vista???

  • dose with me

i have it on all high settings (1024 by 765)

    IP4 3 ghz (2x cpu) (6ghz)

    2GB ram

8500GT 512 MB Nvidia video card (overclocked thuo

    memory speed:750MHz

    core speed:700MHz

    vista

  • Vista with only 2 gig?!

    You're mad.

  • to realy it works just fine i will have to film it and do a video responses

  • Yeah I knew it would work but you're insane.. You'll end up with like 1.3 GB RAM..

  • he could just use ready boost with an 8gb

  • Yeah but still... Vista... ugh..

  • yea lol

xp sp3 taking up 200mb of memmory for me

i might go to vista and use 2 8gb cards for ready boost, would be a ghetto fix for my 2gb of ram lol

  • Nah go XP till Windows 7 is released.

  • will 7 be that good?

  • The Windows 7 pre-beta is known to be even more stable than Vista is now from what I've heard from several sources.

And I really (like a lot of others) have my hopes up for Windows 7 after seeing a few introductions.

  • u think ill be able to play gta 4 properly with this card?

  • gta 4 sucks. waste of money

  • Downloading this game rite now!! Can't wait to play with my Q6600 @3GHz, GTX260 Core 216 in SLI.. lol complete overkill.

  • awesome game AND it's for free! great

  • i might get this card for christmas. I can't wait cuz i here that its the best card for the money and it'll upgrade me from my v3400. and right before i got that card i had a 9700pro.

  • 4830's in crossfire coming in 2 weeks. Then I will OBILTERATE whatever FPS a 9800 GT will attain. In all honesty though, I like Nvidia. If I were able to find a decent SLI AMD board, I would have went with SLI 9800 GTX instead.

  • they just came out with a board i can't remember the name, but check their website they may have it up

  • the 780a chipset can do 3 way sli and supports all amd cores up through phenom 9950

  • so is the 1gb going to give me a more significant change then 512mb?

    and also

is 8800GT better or 9800GT beter

please REPly if u have more info

  • well if u look at the chipset they are basicly the same becuse the 9600gt is basicly the same card so 9800 isnt going to be a significant increase but it will run alot better and yes more ram is almost always good ram

  • I have a

    Intel Quad core Q9450 2.666 1333FSB 12 cache

    6GB 6400 DDR2

    9800GT a 1024MB

I got a HP setup that was 1679-4030 off got for 1249+tax 5 months 6 months ago

    I get on 9800GT 1GB 12,500-12,8900 max ocing 13,200

running 3Dmark 06 100 percent run the right way

I max oc 13,200 1-2Hrs then crash so I oc to 665/975/1565 12k5-12k8 not bad 40-60 fps with high ass settings .

  • at least it a start and hell warmonger is tight as hell

  • AGEIA physics suck, they make cloth look like rubber.. WTF?!

  • lol i agree that cloth wasnt realistic and neither were the hard objects when explosions were near them. they like pulsated...walls dont do that.

  • then you make your own

  • then make your own if you think it sucks them try makeing it better which you wi never

  • u can get the 9800gtx+ on new egg for 170$ with a copy of crysis too btw

  • 4850 is the equivalent of the 9800gtx+ alot bttr then 9800gt lol if u can afford it

  • can it run on a 400watt??? cuz a 8800GT 512mb

can and i wanna have an 9800GT 512mb

  • no.

  • Ok but i got a 550Watt psu now :)

  • No? Lol, I'm running my 8800GT@300Watt.

  • well good for you. have fun while that psu lasts, because it won't be long. just because you CAN do it doesn't mean you SHOULD.

  • So I change it when its broken.

  • yeah, and you'll be changing them every two months, if not sooner! do me a favor, and when it breaks, get a 600-watt supply. you'll save money that way, because a 600-watt supply won't cost nearly as much as the number of 300-watt supplies it replaces in its lifetime.

  • Yeah if it breaks I wil get like 600W or 550W :)

    Thnx for advice :)

  • np!

i've gone through a few psu's myself, and my dad keeps using underpowered ones and they die prematurely. right now i have a 600w thermaltake, and my graphics card (radeon x1950 pro) takes 33 amps peak (not watts!) on the 12-volt rail. if you do the math:

    watts = amps x volts

    33 amps x 12 volts = 396 watts

that leaves about 200 watts left.

so yeah, with that 8800, don't get any less than a 600w.

  • rofl x1950 pro doesn't take 33 amps peak, what are you mad? Not even an GTX280 takes 33 amps

  • HAHAHA

my bad! you're right its not nearly that high

but what can i say? i never really studied the specs of it, and i've only had it for a few months

  • im getting a 4850 cus it is cheaper and faster and i have a 550Watt psu now :)

but im still Nvidia fan :P

  • yea 9800gtx+ is only like 5% faster but u cant tell the diff really so either way

  • Ok. So buying a 4850 is a good choice?

  • yea lol either one is good

  • Ok. :)

  • corsair 1200 watt PSU :P

  • if you wanna overclock so the 9800 gt is your better choise coz the 4850 has an overheating probleme

  • What is warmonger and is it free?

  • Yes Warmonger is free and its an online FPS but youll need a decent computer to run it.

It is basicaly to show off the Physx engine.

  • thanks. I cant run it at low at lowest res lol.

  • you're using the physx drivers huh. i don't know if i should install them. i might ust play this without them. the physics don't look that great anyways.

  • It'll run like flaming shit if you don't have the physx drivers installed.

  • k lol. decided not to install the game anyways. doesn't look like alot of fun.

  • I'm buying a new PC and I don't know wich one is better:

    a Geforce 9800GT with 1GB

    OR

    an ATI HD4850 with 512mb

    Can someone please tell me?

    Thanks :)

  • I have the same question...

And I wonder, I have a power supply of 450 Watts, will it be enough for the 9800 GT ? or the HD 4850 ?

    Or can I handle a 9800 GTX + with 450 watts ?

  • definately the HD4850! 512mb to 1gb doesn't have an effect unless your running like 2560x1600

  • see comment for pic of gfx card.

  • yeah i bought the card too. i hope the gt will coming tomorrow

  • the card is about 9 inches long and takes up two slots (well mine anyway). it has an aditional 6 pin power supply connector with it that needs to be connected and also comes with a two pin SPDIF cable for the HDMI video. It does come with a DVI to Analog converter aswell. Download the nvidia latest drivers and physx drivers (i think 8.0.somthing) and you should be set

when i tried it out on the stress test on counter strike it averaged 167.54 frames ad peaked over 300.

  • woops also forgot i was also running at 1440x900

  • and again lol... Heat is a killer since its normal running temp is 105 oC Get some air flow and youll be allright. If the fps starts to degrade after about 5 hrs, 2 points, 1: you shouldnt of be playing that long LOL 2: your GPU is really warm and its downclocking SO LET IT COOL!

  • hey dude, Im buying a 9800GT are the wroth the money :)? it's going to cost me $153 Aust dollar

so can you get back to me soon, thanks

also can you run Crysis on high? cheers

  • Just remember the 9800GT is literally the same as an 8800GT with a new sticker and name.

  • not really, 9800GT will have new drivers and it has PhyX built on the card itself.

  • the 9800 has separate cores too, even though the 8800 and 9800 have 112 stream processing cores, the architechture is different in that there are two sets of physical GPU cores on the chip (i think)

  • yeah i heard about that too.

  • i can run crysis on high actually, there are some seams where it starts to struggle but generally it sustains about 40 fps WITHOUT anti-aliasing. it is worth it

  • Awesome thanks dude, i will be buying one soon.

  • you will need atleast a 450w power supply also. Best to get a 650 watt thermaltake whcih i had to get if you dont want any probs.

  • i have a 500W but it's not under heavy load so it should be ok.

  • can u put a vid of crysis with that card?

  • i will try
