  • Nice to be able to see this fascinating material

  • first piece of archive i have seen for this railway.

    music is also nice.

i dont suppose anyone knows of any archive on the Masham to Leighton Reservoir, i am intereste din the leeds No. 1 loco.

  • First time I have seen this film. Using the theme from Chocolat is a nice touch. The idea previous raised about resiting the Sittingbourne and Kelmsley railway here is an excellent idea and it was a prophetic of willlittle given what has been happening over the last four weeks to that railway(Sept 2008). There is room for the railway and the cycle way today. The relocation of the engines and rolling stock would hammer down the cost of the railway's reinstatement. Or is this just wishful thinking?

  • Priceless archive material. I've been into railways all my life and haven't seen this before. Transporter wagon too! Thanks for posting it.

  • Thanks.

The small booklet on the L & Manifold is well worth a look at;if you want more information.

  • have you got any more footage of the leek and manifold railway, and if you have is there any chance you could send me it,

  • check out 'A Quaint Little Railway (1930)', here on YouTube.

  • Thanks for the info, Pete.

Already in processs of shortening this clip and
