  • Hey Bender, I got the idea of a FOFF SCX10 from you and squirrelod. Anyway, my build is almost complete, and I want the lower suspension like you have. I have been looking at options, and was wondering what length (at full extension & compression) was. I was looking at 80mm, what do you think? Thanks, and keep the great vids coming!

  • @WSRebel2 The 80mm shocks will work great to lower your ride height. I am running stock SCX10 shocks with internal limiters, and they measure 80mm too.

  • how did you do the steering

  • @Rjellycrf It's a custom fabbed set-up I came up with for this particular build. There are photos on RCCrawler in the Formula Offroad forum.

  • It's like Gravelrama, only smaller. Kick ass!

  • sweet truck and great job on the vid

  • BAD ASS

  • @drewchristianhansen Oh no, another wanna be 13 year old internet troll. Don't worry son your balls will drop some day, no need to be bitter.

  • @drewchristianhansen Then what the heck are you doing here? like bender said some day son some day.

  • @drewchristianhansen Awww, maybe Santa will bring you a clue this year.

  • @drewchristianhansen hey i think a pretty good indication of the fact its not a "real" truck is that it states SCX10, idk about you but i never heard of an SCX10...in "real" trucks...asshole dont be a troll and go spend mommy and daddys money on your Escalade

  • That is bullshit! I totally thought that was a real truck for like the first minute bahahhaa

  • @UserIsAnFBIAgent If you want to be a moron/punk ass kid, go do it on some other channel.

  • What body did you use on it?

  • @fordyrox Narrowed HPI Rubicon body.

  • Icelandic (rc) hill climbing! Cool!

  • Excellent : )

  • @rcfordsrbest8520 The 12t motor and 3 cell lipo battery are where the speed comes from. I actually went to brushless for the video after this one, and it's probably twice as fast now.

  • @rcfordsrbest8520 Stock Axial transmission.

  • how much ws the rc car

  • @n8pugh2008 Probably $600 - $700 for a basic replica, the faster you want to go the more money it'll cost.

  • were did you get the wheels on the back?

  • @MrWinkie1995 The wheels are chrome 8 hole beadlock wheels from Axial. I am just running different beadlock rings in the back.

  • was plaining on do this to my venom creeper safari could you give me some input befor i start i want to do it right

  • @joedirt89ful Keep the center of center of gravity as low as you can, and stretch the wheelbase a little.

  • Awesome vid..Looks so much better than the new Wraith :-)

  • Awesome vid..Looks so much better than the new Wraith :-)

  • Hey Bender, Been a fan for a couple years now an i see a trend... Your just the Best, Rigs,Vids and a cold one.... Whats it like when everything you touch turns to GOLD?? LOL.. Super rig i love this thing, got to build one now, Thanks for all the insperation, and tech support....

  • Why is the video choppy.

  • Do u mine share with me the shop name maybe the website will be good.. Because normally i bought my tires/parts from TCS but now they do not sent to my country anymore n thats is sucks.. after few years being a loyal customer. I saw in rc4wd but not like yours. Much appreciate if u can give me the websites.

    TQ

  • may i kno where do u get those tires?

  • @kapcai69 I bought them at a local hobby shop here in town. I am running the 2.2 Panther paddles out back and 2.2 Pro-line Sand Paws out front.

  • That is a sweet rig

  • what shocks did you use for this? I love this thing. Reminds me of this pipe dream project I was thinking up a year ago to turn an SCX10 into a bowler tomcat.

  • @phrawgg2 I am running an older set of Losi shocks, but any standard 100mm shock should work, just limit the travel internally like I did.

  • nice vids and nice rig... very tuned up up .... keep it up and by the nice song background you got there... whats the title of the song?

  • @MrRommel1999 Soweto is the name of the song.

  • Badass! That's one sweet truck. Isn't F-OFF fun? I have an FOFF Wheely King. We would have some serious fun. Checkout my vids. I'm gonna sub to urs

  • Love it

  • @lepirate3030 Yes you can.

  • i love how u get the camera low, makes this rc look real lol, btw very nice truck wish i had a talent to build custom rigs, and the money lol

  • awesome !!!! works better than my homebuilt rig did. grenaded wheely king tranny and rear axle, but it was fun! now running tlt axles and gear reduced WK tranny, and sticking to the rocks, trails and TTC! lightweight rig now being built for mud skimmer/ hillclimber..... Great video as always Bender

  • Another fine video. You always seem to find interesting and different music. Cudo's

  • Also, have you tried it across water yet? :)

  • @Polar5g not yet. I need more wheel speed before I attempt it.

  • DAMNIT... Beat to the punch. I wondered if I was going to get mine done before someone else built one. Great job, and great vid!!

  • awesome !!!!

  • SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!! OK, I gotta build one of those for sure!!!!

  • There was a guy out here that was into formula off-road and had a sweet WK setup, but he moved away before we could run together.

    Nice vid. Love Hieroglyphics!

  • EPIC !!

  • I'm not a fan of RC's but DAMN that thing is nice!

  • Fricken awesome I can't wait for my parts to come in. I am also building a version of a formula offroad truck.

  • sweet video and song!

  • awesome modification ... great idea!

  • sweet vid man and I luv the rig.

    Great work.....!!!

  • Good Job on the video editing/filming :) Very Nice RIG dudes :) This thing is "paw'ing" sand for sure :)

  • looks like a hill climber special with the extended front axle. great video!

  • Sweet as always! I'd rather hear the rig than the tunes though.

    Pappy

  • great video dude loving the scx10 man great job

  • wheels number and brand please?

  • @jason1786 They are Axial 8 hole 2.2 beadlock wheels, in chrome.

  • your definetley going to want to go brushless with a formula offroad and make it as light as possible but that was fricken awsome!!!!!

  • That was sick!!

  • An scx10 like we have never sean. Good job.

  • good job :)

  • Awsome slowmotion shots and build! Did you use a Honcho frame or a regular wb scx10?

  • @xnihpseht It's a standard SCX10 wheelbase, with a stretch front axle.

  • @BenderCustoms please define "stretch front axle" Not sure what you mean. I apologize for my density

  • @phrawgg2 I moved the front axle forward just over an inch, so the tires stick out beyond the front of the truck, looking at it from the side.

  • @BenderCustoms thanks. Great results!
