WoW and Aion have completely different storylines. WoW has the same basic storyline as every other MMORPG, while Aion's setting, characters, and environment are beyond any other MMORPG. There is no comparision between the two games in lore, gameplay, and design.
i dont like the armor dyeing factor much at all. They had it in warhammer online. They basicaly use it as a substitute to having many armor designes up until max level. Games with armor dyeing have a tendancy to have low amoutns of armor designs
are you freakin kiddin me? The armors in aion are so much better then anything I have seen, elyos has differrent looking armor than Asmo's and each type has a differrent look (cloth, chain etc) then add dyein and you are pratically limitless in Aion!
calm down, im sure they are great looking, what im concerned about is variety, plus one class will rarely use several types of armor, like you will never see a gladiator in cloth or leather :P i dont think you know what im saying. In warhammer, there was probably 5 armor animations per armor type until max level, so even with the dyeing factor everyone looked the same if they were within 10 levels of eacher, im just saying im worried about that happening to aion
except that in Aion you have many different armor models + different dye colors, thus multiplying the possibilities. if you haven't, check out a wiki site, i think they have a variety of different armor models you can check out.
I'm not too familiar with the dye system in this game... but mostly because I didn't even touch the auction system. In GW the good colors were ungodly high though equally absurdly rare to get (like black and silver) but it added a nice aesthetic to your character and kept them unique. Also since this lets you keep an armor and reap the benefits of another you're guaranteed to look exactly how you want to which I love. Next month won't come soon enough
If it was a copy of WoW they would alliance both factions together when they should be conflicting each other to fight a PvE based game with having an annoying and unbalanced arena system. Just saying!

This is a copy of WoW. But WoW is an MMORPG that was executed nearly perfectly. Although I think WoW is dead, during pre-bc WoW was an amazing game. AION has taken most of the WoW concepts and added a few others and turned into a new MMORPG. It's attracting so many of us pre-bc players because it is so much like WoW; minus the shit storm that is WOTLK.
This is not a Copy of WoW(aka the worst mmo out because a 9 year old child could max in it) WoW is terrible and im pretty shure they took ideas from there many other games. Like Guild Wars, L2, City of Heros, ect. You know all the games that tear wow to shreds. So stop comparing it to WoW because WoW aint got nothing on NcSofts games. But if u want a game to go compare WoW with go on Runes of magic videos and talk because it is an almost exact copy.

It's just a perk actually. There is no worry that there will be a lack of armor choices. Just check the aion armory and see for yourself.
This game is full of customization. You won't be disappointed in that department.
