Of course there are going to be tons of people who hate this. Usually that is always the case when a band covers somebody else. But at least take into consideration that they actually changed the song up instead of making it sound exactly like the original. The Killers are brilliant, and I think this an awesome cover.

anyone can play a carbon-copy cover of a song, but when someone adds their own twist, that's special. this song is very cool and very different, yet wonderfully familiar at the same time. I like the Eagles, I like the Killers, and I love this tropical rendition.

The only good thing about this song is it was recorded to raise money for charity. Adding the salsa was a terrible, terrible idea. It reminds me of a cover you would hear in a movie because they couldn't afford the original. Sucks.

i think i died a little bit inside, along with every member of the eagles.

too cluttered sound, and i don't like the salsa sound, or his harmonizing from 3:04 and on. it was decent up till that point. then it was like listening to..hmm.. i can't even think of an analogy for this because nothing is like this.

I really don't like The Eagles, I hate them to be honest, but The Killers always seem to make me like songs from bands I despise (Bright Eyes, The Eagles) I loved all their covers, especially Shadowplay. I think they're just an amazing band, probably the biggest act of the decade and, if you ask my opinion, the best band since the end of the 80s. Can't wait to see them in exactly 1 month :)
