  • thanks KLOS

  • simon brought me here

  • such a fuckin sick track man love it

  • I'm actually here thanks to Pandora

  • Neil Armstrong was humming that tune when he set foot on the moon...things NASA doesn't want you to know.

  • The greatest 'I just got laid' anthem known to man.

  • I like listening to "Somebody that I Used to Know" by Gotye right before this song. Try it!

  • did anyone walk on the moon, seriously?

  • this makes me forget about all the bad shit in my life and makes me feel lost in happiness!

  • Some may say, I'm wishing my days away

    No way!

And if it's the price, I pay, some say

    Tomorrow's another day...You stay!

    I may as well play.

  • i hate police but i love The Police

  • the police are the fucking shit

  • Cas Haley brought me here :P

  • fantastic walk, who will be the second one to walk on the moon after neil armstrong

  • buzz aldrin

  • @xmariclemanx :thanks for the correction,i was not sure who walked first, anyway history

    tells it likewise

  • @ghostinthemachine44 someones alittle jealous.... are you a retard? things like Cas Haley dont disapear people discover new stuff everyday hence why he is still being talked about... if you did something amazing people would talk about it years later you retarded fuck

  • @TheKlangdon Lol this whole Cas Haley/Sting discussion is pointless. There is no comparison whatsoever. One is a world renowned musician that rocked the better part of the 80's with The Police and the other is some dude who placed 2nd in America's Got Talent....

  • I think Justin Bieber made 62 fake youtube accounts just to push 62 times the "dislike" button?? Cause I don't believe somebody else would...

  • Jesus Christ, people are still talking about friggen Cas Haley? I'd say he's had his little 5 minutes. It's over. He's had more than enough time to come up with something interesting of his own and has failed.

BTW Cas had to lower the key a full 3 notes just to be able to pull off that cover,

  • What do you call china on the lunar surface frying noodles?

    WOK-ing on the moon.

  • @brendanw23 Well played, Mr. Bond.

  • it tells you something when Cas Haley has twice as many views as the original.. I mean awesome job on his part, got to give dues when they are needed..

  • Wanking on the moon.

  • My mom brought me here. I remember me singing The Police with her in the car since I was 8.

  • gotye brought me here. after hearing his overpopular song "somebody that i used to know," i ached to hear the REAL sting. <3

  • What does this song really mean?

  • @TheSnakeoilmerchant Sting touched on this in his Bio, its that gitty feeling when you are in love. "Legs dont break" from shaky legs.

  • The one song that stood out when I was a young kid that my parents cranked, I can remember.

  • listened to this in a bar yesterday contemplating what happened in the rugby match between Ireland and Wales. Is such a good song to get drunk too :/

  • An awesome dad who made me listen to this when I was growing up brought me here.

  • Were Sting and The Police sort of derivative of reggea?

  • @LanceHertford progressive mainstream poprock, rush would also derive from reggae but were never considered that sound.

  • @LanceHertford Rock & Reggae, they called it.

  • ya... it was the weed...

  • your mom brought me here

  • that brought me here thing brought me here

  • weed brought me here

  • first time I heard this song was driving the 1972 Black Cadillac that I just bought from the old man along the 7-mile bridge of Route 1 in the Florida Keys in January 1979. Gulf of Mexico on my right, Atlantic on the left and a moon as big as the sun blazing down on a mystical tropical drive to Key West

  • @SqueezeMyLemon100 You sound like a very interesting man.

  • @Rawralion Thanks, just doing life......

  • @SqueezeMyLemon100 that sounds like a dream man

  • @SqueezeMyLemon100 Poetic. Lovely.

  • @SqueezeMyLemon100 funny, this song wasn't released til november 1979, cool story though.

  • Comment removed

  • @SqueezeMyLemon100 Thank you for sharing that vivid memory with, at least me. I highly appreciated the image i constructed in my mind!

  • smoking a fat doobie brought me here

  • Walken on the moon

  • Ok why the hell does the America's got no Talent version of this have twice as many views!!??

I'm sorry but thats just fucked up right there

  • @Trailer1220 the other guy sings it better? i dont think its fucked up people haver personal preferences

  • @Trailer1220 because that cas haley guy sang way better than sting.

  • Those who say Cas Haley's version is better have never experienced 'The Police brutality'

  • my childhood brought me here

  • the police brought me to jail

  • This tune reminds of out of London school trip under ILEA in the 80's. Yesi, sing out Sting :)

  • the memory of a great song brought me here.

  • I brought me here.....

  • I don't like cas haley's version at all.. imo

  • MY MUM BROUGHT ME HERE.

  • Anyone commenting on the cover being better than the original - I can't wait till all your favorite "current" music has deteriorating recordings that (cough) sound like they were recorded over 20 years ago. Y'all have no friggin' attention spans - this was a tiny little record at the time, that built an extremely original bands reputation from the ground UP! Cass has taste - but he also "began" with the AGTalent production crew making him sound amazing from note 1 of his (cough) career.

  • I came here after hearing some guy sing this from America's Got Talent and i must say i am disappointed. O.O First time i liked a cover better than the original. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves.

  • @OfficerTroll1337 Cas Haley in no way sung this better than fucking Sting. You should be ashamed of your musical taste. I respect peoples musical tastes, but jesus christ. And fuck Cas Hayley guarantee we will never hear his name again. Im so tired of people raving about all these throw away t.v. talent show "artists".

  • @reclaimer113 Actually, you dumb fuck Cas haley has had two albums and a single plus hes on tour. And "t.v." talent? I suggest you watch his performance again on America's Got Talent and if you're not a moron you can actually see his love for music and the passion he has for it while he was playing the song. Get your facts straight before you criticize what amazing talent there is out there in the world that can actually do a song better by themselves than a whole band can do. Cas over Sting

  • @Juniorb38 Amen Brother..well said!

  • @Juniorb38 Get my facts straight? Was he or was he not recognized from a television show? And explain to me how someone can sing a song "better" than the band/person who actually wrote and originally performed the song. I'll hand it to you that his performance wasn't bad. But to say that cas haley is more talented than sting/the police is just preposterous. He COVERED the song for christs sake.

  • @reclaimer113 Cas is so much better than sting my friend

  • @scarredk0 Not trying to troll, but based on what? One cover song?

  • @reclaimer113 lol dude he got a recording deal and is currently pumping out music just sayin

  • @reclaimer113 "i respect peoples musical tastes" "You should be ashamed of your musical taste" lol he thinks he sang the song better than "fucking sting" so why bitch about it? Sure he covered the song but bands have been covering other bands song for years and years and its in his musical taste to like Cas's version better. Quit riding "fucking sting" 's dick.

  • @Mussbus1 I do respect people's tastes, I'm a musician, it's kinda my job.... and from a musical stand point alone. Cas doesn't hold a candle to what the police did, so to say cas blows the police away is sad. Why? because he sang a cover song on a talent show, and got a recording deal. And look man, truly I'm not looking for a fight, I'm not that mature... but when you see comment after comment - page after page of people saying "i watch cas on tv, hes better," yet nobody defending -

  • @reclaimer113 a legendary band, that put out timeless music. I felt it's my duty to defend it. I'm not looking to fight. Just stating "MY musical taste." Oh, and btw im not on Stings dick. I was simply trying to state the importance of this band and their singer. While meanwhile pages of people are understating it.

  • @reclaimer113 Well man... the police have been around and have been able to pump out some hits over the years I give them credit for a lot of good songs because I mean they're a good band.. but Cas hasn't had that chance yet and yeah he got popular in one of the gayest ways possible but he blew the minds of thousands and thousands of viewers JUST by the way he sang a song it was his voice and could have been any lyrics. So after some time Cas could be one of these "legendary" people

  • @Mussbus1 why would you quote fucking sting? is that his name? oh look its "fucking sting"

  • @safetydancer87 I thought it sounded funny that there was so much emphasis on a name like sting. Also I was being a dick.

  • CAS HALEY sings this better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good taste in music brought me here.

  • By typing "Walking on the moon" on my keyboard. I, myself, magically brought myself here.

Please stfu with the "_______ brought me here" many things get referenced or referred by other people. Deal with it.

  • Cas Haley brought me here.

  • Please keep Homer Simpson out of this song. The Police wrote this song for Police fans not Homer Simpson's fans!

  • The condition of my kids' school parking lot brought me here. (With all the craters, I thought it was like driving on the moon. Then I had to look this song up.)

  • OMG !! Cas Haley is Way Better Type in: Cas Haley Walking on the Moon :)

  • @xRonnieee Are you kidding me?

  • If you believe the moon really exists, you're wrong. It's an illusion made by the FBI

  • Comment removed

  • Great song based on a hoax. Search for moon hoax on YouTube. The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it. It's mass gullibility. Meantime, The Police's first album remains their best.

  • @SimonThe1st How the hell is this song based on a hoax? This song isn't actually about walking on the moon. "When you are in love, you are relieved of gravity."

  • Humans walking on the Moon was a hoax in my opinion.

  • @SimonThe1st you are a troll in my opinion.

  • @SimonThe1st You can believe whatever you want, but did you read my comment at all?

  • @Imahdum666 - Humans walking on the Moon was a hoax in my opinion.

  • @SimonThe1st Simon, just for your edification ,not only is the Moon real , coz i can see the fucker most nights, but this song ain't even from their first album, it's from the second. The first was Outlandos d'Amour released in 1978, good, but Regatta de Blanc is the best i can agree.

  • @martin84125 - I never said the Moon is not real, nor did I say this song is from the Police's first album.

  • new music sucks this is where it at!

  • still one of my best police trax

  • Sting + Stewart Copeland + Andy Sommers = Genius

  • Great and high quality music brought me here!

  • a fat singing guy brought me here xD

  • @ElChobotoRoboto lmfaoo wordd

  • @ElChobotoRoboto yeah I liked that fat singing guy.

  • @ElChobotoRoboto if i could thumb your comment up more than once, i would because that is just too funny... and the reason i'm here as well.

  • @ElChobotoRoboto america's got talent?

  • @ElChobotoRoboto guy on American's got talent or Homer Simpson?

  • @ElChobotoRoboto yea me to that guy on americas got talent

  • @ElChobotoRoboto Mmmmmm Homer arghhhh..

  • Quiet steps are what I take Walking in at noon Just in time for my lunch break Got my fork and spoon Time the camaras just right duck in the bathroom I'm still drunk from last night Got a ride home I don't know by whom.... Some may say I don't deserve any pay but Hey I came up with 60's day Last May....
  • @MrDamo116 Hhahahahh xD

  • So there I was, higher than a giraffe's balls, drunker than a thousand redskins, in the future... I'd only just taken a good long gander at the milky way from a great distance, and BAM, snatched up by the skinwalker! That prince of cats, he tore me to ribbons with just a stare! But wait, what's this place? A castle, courtyard, and baalroom, and Sting is there, dressed up like Jesus! Or vice versa.

Point is, in the future, dancing is forbidden. Unless you're giant. -Yorkshire Man from the Future

  • Cas Haley's version is better!

  • The 80's brought me here

  • Wow!! Cas Haley actually sang it better!

  • @denzennako Homer Simpson sings it even better

  • Cas haley sings it better LOL

  • fits very well while having some slow, passionate sex

  • Amzaing song! It makes me feel like I'm walking on the moon with people I love. There are no inhibitions because I'm walking on the moon (everything is slower anyway).. Everything is slowed down, little graviity but we I still love the people I'm walking arround with. It's just that we're on the moon and everything is a bit slower cause it's kind of hard to move arround with the kind of gravity there is on the moon ! Thousand thumbs up!

  • Stewart Copeland: the only man to turn the hi-hat cymbal into a solo instrument!

  • @AbbeyRoadkill1 not true, but good observation ;)

  • @85cc144 ha ha ha so did i aom some may say i dont deserve any pay but hay i came up with 60 day

  • @41479259 were did you learn that

  • First off, I love older music.(15 guys...it's that good)

How I found this song, was in (nerd mode guys..) the episode of The Simpsons where Homer is late for work, and he's singing something to the rhythm of this tune. Sparked a memory in which I heard this song, and googled the homer lyrics to find a forum explaining what song was sung... :) <3

  • @zxAMBULANCExz no one cares

  • Man I love this song sooo much...I'd love to do my own female version of this...love singing along with this track <3

  • @FluffMaster101 your a little late...

  • @JesusSanchezz The episode aired two weeks ago, like my comment. So, that was a waste. lol

  • Thumbs up if you LOVE the police!

  • I have always thought I liked this song, but in reading the lyrics here, for the first time in 25 years, it makes absolutely no sense.

  • relaxing song !!

  • its better

  • best police song.

  • cas haley ..sings better

  • :( i not like

  • @FACINKA50 wtf? why? D:

  • This song was written for Michael Jackson's moonwalking

  • @kratiras no it wasn't

  • @jewshthegyp eeehm...."walking on the moon" ---> Michael Jackson's "moonwalking" dance move???? Its a joke you Dwinght Schrute :P

  • @kratiras

Not a very funny joke, though. It's not exactly in good taste.
