Think of the orange as an analogy for "love". The whole song "Orange" is literally comparing an Orange to love, on how it's supposed to be sweet and loving, yet when you try it, it's painful and sour.

@nopshere her Seiyuu(voice actress) is Rie Kugimiya, famous for brig her voice to various "tsundere" archetype characters such as Shana(Shakugan no Shana), Louise(Zero no Tsukaima), Nagi(Hayate no Gotoku) among other, but for me Taiga was her best role to date(it starts on the same mold as Shana and Louise but gradually evolves out of it and become a more complete character).
