Our Chessie does that when he's upset at being alone ... in a different room than we are. He howls if we leave the room until we call him to where we are. Goodness only knows what he does when we're gone. :)
I almost died the first time our Chessies howled...yes, they do it when we leave. And, my little female does it when she's sound to sleep. Needless to say, it wakes her up and the rest of the house...she runs around all embarrassed! Oh well, that's why we love our Chessies!

When my chessie doesn't think anyone is home, he will make is deep mooing sound like a cow, and hold it for the longest time.

Its funny you said hell be back and the end of the video as our Chesapeake does the same thing when one or both of us leave the house.
