its funny how many things they are right about in this. they are called devil sticks, tho usually they're only called devil stix if they can "light up" (yeah, juggling and fire, original...) i have juggling sticks (the kind that don't light up) and the main reason he failed so hard at them wasn't because he lacked deftness (well partially that) but because the real ones have tufts on the ends that act as weight, and a coating layer that causes friction, like leather or rubber.
