The motor is an off-the shelf J sized Aerospark, if you were speaking of the rocket's motor.
If you were speaking of the linear induction motors, unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to give specific number... but it's a 30 lb rocket being accelerated at well over 20g's before the motor ignited.
It wasn't modified for these purposes. That was the intent of this portion of our project.

Interesting Project...How much force is derived from the catapult version the motor? Looks like a J sized motor.
