@kjw19stl Pythons should eat things twice the width of their main bulk. As you can see, that deer is quite a bit more than twice the width of the snake. If a snake eats something too big for it, it can end up splitting, like the burmese python that ate an aliigator.

This reporter is stupid. Snakes eat deer all the time. The only reason it spat the deer up was because the crowd spooked it and it felt vulnerable with that large meal inside it since it impairs its movement. If not for the crowd it bet it would've digested its meal.

Hey i stay close to that incident. That python was brought to a nearby zoo and it was cured there and released to jungle later. My friends saw that python.

Snakes will sometimes eject ( throw up ) a meal if they feel very threatened, even though they may inure themselves by the prey going out backwards ( horns etc).

With the prey thrown up, the snake can now better defend itself or make an escape.

I suspect the villagers were harrassing it???
