  • One of these just sold on ebay for £400!

  • is the schematic something like a vox wah, a colorsound etc, or is it just plain something else?

  • I just gotta say that is a great sounding wah wah and nice playing! I think this just sounds much better than many old cyldes/voxs of the day. Sounds like your Marshall is a reall nice healthy one for sure. If you ever need to sell or get rid of it please let me know . I love the sound of this and combined you have some awesome old marshall pedals. Take care Zack

  • How ya doin Rob? I was going crazy here trying too find a fuzz box that plugged directly into the guitar a friend had one back in like 67 or 8. It was black with a small white toggle switch. I could swear it was a Sunn Maybe you have seen them? Tom

  • Hey Tom,

I'm fine, thanks!! Yeah the Sunn Buzz right? Heard of them but never to try one though. I wonder if these sound as good as the Jordan Bosstone.

    Rob

  • THANK YOU for what should be "the" most revealing site anywhere on the web, about the Supa-Wah. Seriously, a pic here and there, some urban legend in a blog. I feel like I have just found a long lost brother in a way. I have had my Supa - Wah since the nineties and you are the first person I have seen who had anything to show and tell about them. Thanks Again...

  • Yeah there's not much to be found about them. They're kind of the Big Foot of wah pedals lol!! i'm glad that you enjoyed that short clip and thanks for letting me know bro!!

    Rob

  • Hi, yes i do have a Colorsound Wah and will post a clip of it as soon as i find the time. so stay tune bro!!

    Rob

  • Cool! I'll be back:)

  • Really wide and GOOD sound/sweep!!

About comparison: do you have experience with Colorsound Supa Wah and Colorsound wah (regular) to tell sound differences. And how your Marshall Supa compared against Colorsound?

    THX!!!!!

  • nice pedal, you sounding basic , never

  • Thanks Dave, that's too kind!!

    Rob

  • Rob, It's great to hear how the supa wah sounds. So little on the web about them. Iv'e sent you a useful email on this wah through the utube email facility. Please email me. Miles

  • Nice Rob! That vintage wah is great, I like the tight range.

  • Thanks TJ!! yeah it's cool for rhythm stuff. i've also a '70s Colorsound wah with a similar tone that i will demo soon.

    Rob

  • I think you need to do voodoo child with that pedal !!! could you post a vid of that ???

  • Sure!! if i can find the time i will Bro!!

    Rob

  • I like how you build up this jam.., and then, just attack it.... it sounds prety good my friend.

  • Thank you very much Chris!!

    Rob

  • Rob now that was a cool video you need to do more ...I know you dont have time!!!...I'm just picking my friend ....I go through the time zone myself....thats one kick ass wah .......peace....[Freddie]....p.s. ...you ROCK

  • thank you so much Freddie!! i kind of like doing them, but most of the time i just don't know what to play. so i sound like it's a half assed botched job. i would like to come up with great licks like everybody on YT, but i end up sounding pretty basic.

    Rob

  • Rob I thought about what you said bro from what I hear from your playing I believe that you are holding back because you rock my friend...man bring those riffs out the closet ,you are the man....peace..♥♥♥♥♥...and guitars....[Freddie]

  • Thanks Freddie that's really kind Bro!!

    Rob

  • great demo, Rob!

  • Glad that you like it Eddie!! "guitar toyz", you can never have enough of them right?!!

  • do you like the stock vox tone ( Im thinking that I wanna replace my original crybaby ) but it still rocks it just has a.......... almost thin tone ya know

  • well it's been tampered with so many times that i honestly don't know how a stock Vox should sound like lol!! i guess you already know that, but just in case. you adjust your wah's sound just by opening it up, unscrew the retainer and move the rack gear back, then find the sweet spot by moving the pinion gear, when you're done just move the rack gear back on the pinion gear, and move the pedal with your hand to hear the range. do this 'til you like the sound range, screw everything back yer done

  • do you gig with this wah????

  • Not for live stuff, but in the studio sometimes. live, i use a beat up Vox that i have for years. must have changed the switch 6 times and had a few different pot in there as well, but it still holding on.

    Rob

  • well it sounds AWESOME !!!!! were you playing through the spider marshall (LOL) you have a great tone !!!!

  • Thanks!!

Yeah lol!! i did both yesterday. you can see the wah still plugged in on the Marshall clip. actually, i did both in about 5 min just to test my new video camera, and since it's pretty rare i though that some of my friend my enjoy hearing it!!

    Rob

  • hey man how much is one of those worth?????????

  • probably more than the shoes i was wearing lol!! i really don't know. have just seen another one like that in a pic on the net. there's not much info on the net that's why i posted this short clip so that people can see how it sounds.

    Rob
