yes this video is very helpfull ... but after i ve seen many many videos on that theme , i kept a question pending for answere ... everyone is hiting the second arrow ... why they always hit the second arrow and they never play with the other arrows :S and what about a semi straight ball ... we are not all profs to throw good hook , how we should manage that ... ? (rookie who wants to become better)
The 2nd arrow is called the "track area" because that's where most non-professional bowlers tend to play. This was especially true in the 1980s, before big-hooking reactive resin balls came out and everybody started with the big crosslane hooks. Back then, a straighter shot was needed with the urethane balls available. Even today though, it's a good way to learn how to bowl...use the 2nd arrow as a pivot point and move left or right to adjust as necessary.
I like 1:35. I'm going to wear that shirt at my next league game and hope for a 120.

pres if you throw the ball straighter then just move your feet right aim for the second arrow your scores will go up
