Go for it. I got all the parts from Lowes. So you can check out the fit to the parts when there. You might even find something that works better too. I use to have a coupling for the vacuum hose to the reducer but I don't know what happened to it. Always good to have some duct tape in the shop. : D

Mike, I used to have some foil duct tape on it to give it that National Reso look. Back in my flashy days. : D
