Diablo 2 Barbarian vs Normal Duriel. No town trips!

I'm too using a barbarian, and I'm having a hard time passing this guy. Have any tips that can help me?

i killed duriel with my lvl 24 necromancer with lvl 6 bone spear, and an iron golem in normal difficulty. no portals used cuz my anticipation got me very excited and i panicked when duriel got too close and killed my merc and golem and also no deaths.

@vgpa09 i killed him at lvl 26 with my first char in this game in a 3 player match solo for the first time,thats cause i got a rabies druid and its resists are maxed already,half freeze time and has almost 500 hp,chose this char cause rabies dmg is very high on normal difficulty even with crappy items so it can do the secret cow lvl get some perfect gems fast sell em get some runes,get items then try anything i like :D

i cant kill this shit beast at level 21 archer amazon. i died like 100 times and was broked . it killed me with 1 strike.

maybe you should try going there with merc and hit the boss few times and teleport back to town to heal before the merc dies. do that few times and its dead.

one question: do u share exp point with the merc? a friend of mine said we have to split it in half for them.

no, the merc will NOT reduce the exp you get. and use only act 2 mercs.

@tinmanism use a town portal outside the tomb, so when u die , u can use the portal to come back , again create another portal, go inside and take back the stuff from ur dead body and repeat the process, worked for me
