It's an interesting situation where you have player A taking his hand off the piece but not hitting his clock before player B makes a move and checkmates player A. In regular tournaments, "touch move" is in place. The minute you touch your piece you must move it, then set it down. The question is, once the piece has grounded from player A, can player B move his piece? Or must player B, be watching the clock to see when player A decides to hit the clock?
@vintagegeisha when you agree to play a blitz match with a certain time control, you have agreed that if your time expires, you lose, regardless of the position on the board. if you don't like it, you shouldn't play blitz.
@phrali Don't try to sound smart with juvenile rhetoric; it makes you sound, well, juvenile. I am fully aware of the consequences of playing blitz, but apparently you are NOT fully aware of the most basic subjects I covered in my comment. I didn't even mention blitz time ratings, I mentioned trash talking, and that is what the conversation is about... if you want to start a new one, then go ahead, but why not just take out the big guns and play me in blitz
@vintagegeisha "I call it trying to win by other means than on the board. I'm sure Hungaski would say the same." this has nothing to do with trash talking. this is you complaining about someone claiming a win on the clock in a blitz game.
theyre both trying to be disceptively arrogant toward eachother at the end :S... gg though

"He flagged me, that's like a victory for him". Mate, you're playing blitz here! Clock management is part of the game.

@zibbit Is that what it's called? I call it trying to win by other means than on the board. I'm sure Hungaski would say the same.
