@pedrocatalao I have this and while duplicating his fast draw I accidentally busted myself in the face and I'm pretty sure it made a kung-fu chop sound. Cannot confirm the ninja sound though.
I've been using the Strap buddy now for a few weeks and so far so good. However, I "lined" the metal part with sticky film and it made got rid of the rubbing against the camera body. It also made the part swivel a lot smoother. I haven't had the part loosen by itself but then again I don't take the camera on many big adventures.
I have been using the strap buddy on my Canon t2i for several months now and haven't had any problems with scratching nor have had it loosen at all. This has been really convenient since I normally have my camera with me on weekends at the beach and in crowded areas. Thanks for making this product and I couldn't be happier.
The tab is a smooth polished stainless steel that slides smoothly. I have been using the strap buddy for over a year and I works great! Much more comfortable. Great product!
