  • It's funny how Petty sounds almost exactly the same as he used to on this track, yet it seems like he's not even trying to sound the same on "Mary Jane's Last Dance". Oh well, at least I can enjoy his music for the most part.

  • This track was from earlier in Petty's career (why he sounds like he used to) while MJLD was from the 30th anniversary concert in gainesville.

    I agree though...I would have loved for the anthology to include older recordings of the older songs in some cases

  • Was it a live song? Live songs are very rarely blocked for some reason (not in the bot's list).
