  • You look and sound so stoned dude xD

  • you kind of look like Mikael Akerfeldt

  • I want a sweet ride to they are awesome it will help me get rid of a cymbal so i am just down to hi hats and the sweet ride

  • Oh yeah the sweet rides are beautiful, I play that one for jazz and it works great, you get the crash of a 20, but get some ping from a 22, a great one :D

  • You want a crashable ride ? , Get a Sabian Omni , They're Great.

  • What does the guy from Rage against the machine play for a crash ride it sounds good. listen to Sleep now in the fire.

  • Dude does stagg let you use other cymbals like zildjians and sabian on your set

  • looks like you do it like travis braker because of the sweet ride the floor tom on the left etc....

  • i have a 18" zildjian zbt crash ride and its got a really good crash but it has a bit of a wierd ride sound but for the music i do and the style i have i love it !

  • sweet ride is definitely the way to go for a perfect ride/crash

  • where is the rest of your kit?

  • if u havent already, could you please do a vid about ur rack and how to set it up correctly? thanks.

  • i cant believe your guitarist influenced the way you set up your kit

  • If you haven't already. Try Dream cymbals. They are awesome. Sound great and don't cost much. A dream ride, preferrably a little bigish, going over the 20" mark at least, will give you a washy, dark crash sound, almost gongy. If you're into that kind of thing. Which I am. At least that sound I mentioned can be achieved with my 24" Dream flat ride.

  • China trash is the best cymbal on that kit by far...

  • Paiste alpha metal 22 inch ride is the best thing out there

  • its ok my brother sold mine i came home and they were gone i was pisst off

  • ive got the same drum set-up, so i can play open handed. the differences are that ive got my ride on my left with my hi hat, have 2 crashes, one on each side, a spalsh in the middle, a china on the right and thats it. i need money.

  • end of the line of arch enemy right?

    nice! :D

  • Woah, this was posted 5 days before Jimmy died ='{ so sad

  • The 22" A custom ride cymbal has a really good crash to it aswell as a nice ping and a very well defined bell =]

  • i really like the way you set that up

    its perfect.

  • nice rack...lol

  • zildjian pitch black 20" c/r

  • dude ive had the same set up since ive started drumming...never really thought of changing it

but now i want to..for creative flare haha

    thanks man!

  • sabian 21" raw bell dry ride

  • sick...

  • paiste 2002 r perfect. but uve been endorsed by stagg so dont bother lol ha v fun !!!!!!!!!!!

  • a custom ping ride or mienal mcs ride

  • I already have the ping ride which has a horrible wash/crash

  • blue bell ride. i promiseee you will love it. you wont want to hit any other cymbal on your kit.

  • @scheyjosh or you could use a paiste pst ride

  • @pearldrummerkori mcs is entry level a custom is pro level

  • @pearldrummerkori Meinl*

  • wats the name of the cymbals that look like bowls kinda

  • @kwfsuperstar i thin you are talking about bell's.

  • looks great

  • What do you guys think of the Fender Starcaster drumset?

Got one for Christmas and it is doing me very well so far.

  • its a pretty good starting one i have one but i changed all the heads and also got some new cymbals for christmas.... only down it the cymbals on there are trash

  • @Saito684 You mean Tama starcaster?

  • nice setup

  • Nice IC man

  • nice set, how long have you been drumming and collecting cymbals for, i only have 1 crash and i don't even know what make it is, and a king ride cymbal.

  • like 4 years

  • thats how i have my drums set up too. 14 inch floor tom to the left, 12 inch rack tom above my snare and 16 inch floor to the right. it makes it very symmetrical and you can play ghosts on the floor to the left

  • why not use al toms ?

  • he explained that...

  • i change my set almost everytime i move it on purpose lol

  • so weird but i like how it looks

  • I had a Sabian AAX 21" Stage Ride a year ago that was pretty good for crashing and had a good ping as well

However, I personally am not big on crrashing on rides, so I got rid of that and got the Sabian HH 22" Rock Ride.

  • thats a sexy ride man, nice, i just set my drums up a new way too, whenever i put them up i put em up diferently and each time i seem to like it more than the last

  • i do the same thing haha

  • Nice drumkit bro,

I'll think with the floor tom on your left, you can also work allot on lefthanded techniques.

    Just enjoy it,

and opinion, drum at 2am :p

Other ride, 22" Zildjian light ride,

Fyfe ewing used it with therapy both as ride/crash sounded fucking amazing!

    :)

  • nice carpet XD

  • I used to have my drums set up like that. Its interesting, and kind of hard to get used to. However, I don't own that many cymbals. lol

  • ur cymbals arent angled as much as they used to be but i like it :D

  • yeah theyre not angled as much anymore because they are lower to me, which will help my arms, because my arms already get so tired playing

  • sweet ride all the way

  • wooo thats alot diffrent i like it

  • i was stuck between the sweet ride and armand ride both 21 "......both great the armand one has a better crash though

  • anyone know where to get cheap cymbals? Cheap but good ones that a 14 yr old girl can afford? I'm in desperate need of new cymbals.

  • dude its awesome that youre back lol and if youre looking for a great ride thats also a good crash, maybe you should check out the 20" sabian xs20 medium ride, and itll save you a bunch of money too. It just came out in brilliant finish about a month ago too, and, while the one i have isnt brilliant finish, i think it sounds great. Cant wait to see more of your vids man

  • it looks good :D

  • i used to be but now im all into zildjian

  • i hope you sweeping abilities is freakin amazing lol cuz fills are gonna be a bitch haha

  • if u want a great ride get a 21 inch hhx evolution ride or a 20 or 22 inch hh ride

  • agreeed i was thinking about getting the sweet ride also, but i just looked up this ride and it also sounds good for crashing

  • looks good. but isnt it gonna be kinda ac-ward to do fills?

  • I like it

  • great man your

     back!! nice!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i like it

  • JK NICE SET-UP

  • the paiste pst5 rock ride has a decent crash sound or at least mine does

  • If the two floor toms on either side don't work out another rack tom on the left of the one you have is something I've done in the past with my kit and it works out pretty good.

  • What sound is playing in the background?? And awsome set dude.

  • The sweet ride is pretty good but I found it too dry, but I heard it in a natural finish so maybe brilliant would be better. Maybe you should look into the Zildjian A Custom Projection Ride, I've heard it's pretty crashable. I'm using a Sabian AAX Stage Ride and it's pretty nice.

  • try out the zildjian 21 in armand ride n try looking on memphis drum shop on youtube for cymbals bec they hav alot

  • I would find it hard with all the cymbals so close together and the hi-hat would be hard to hit.

Thats just me, im aware everyone has different playing styles

  • i luv it man i might try this with my kit too kant wait to see u cover u taking any requests

  • it's so weird not seeing your katrillian cymbals xD but I like the new setupp!

  • meinl makes good rides

  • Hey man, looks great, except im not to sure about the floor toms on different sides, ive only been playing 18 months and still alot to learn, but from what ive picked up is that toms are better off(for me that is) to be in a line, 2 on your kit, and floors right of it, but yeah, i cant wait to see how you play on them, and to see how you change your technique to fit the very new and different style, Keep it up.

    -Rhys

  • awesome :D the kit looks really good (although a little strange)

love the DH china i got one for myself and its a complete beast :D

  • can't wait to hear ur new song cover with this amazing set of drums

  • nice to see ya again me to im going to do some covers awesome video
