@svee hi I have this paint and have been painting just on paper for practice which is ok, however just wandering what surface your painting on there as its a much better finish. I'm quite new to airbrushing thanks.
@rabss15 it was a bit of card i had kicking around mate but it had a weird black coating on it that made it less absorbent and more like a hard surface. I think it came out of a box of chocolates lol :)
hey svee, i was looking at the trident site and i fond the gallery and in it is a truefire panel, i was wondering how well truefire can be done with this new paint it is water base and i know it's hard to do with water base ...any thought's??
hey svee thank's for the vid this look's like a great new paint to try, at current i am useing createx i still consider myself as a amature airbrusher and dont get much time to paint, so far in the last year i have spent more time watching your vid's then spraying paint ;D, me and my girlfriend love watching you paint (and fool around ) glad you have your dad back best wishes happy new year and be well
svee, either you did not say, or I did not hear... but are you getting the blue color shift when you sprayed the trident white over trident blackened areas?
I could not see any blue color shift on the painting, so I did not know if it was not happening or the video was not showing it.
@enemyilaf I didnt get very much at all on this painting but i have just done another one using Trident and there is a slight blue shift over grey areas. Its only slight though ;)
Hi svee, I'm a 13 year old bigginer airbrusherister and my airbrush is spraying paint very smoothly also it spits quite allot. Plz could you tell me what the problem is? Thanks!
@777zaccy Could be a whole number of things mate. My first port of call would be to strip the airbrush down and give it a damn good clean. Even the smallest bit of crud trapped in the nozzle will cause you all sorts of problems. What paint are you using and what nozzle size on your airbrush? If its a small nozzle (.2 or less) it might be that your paint needs reducing a little to get it to flow right.
@hefty88 I ordered the tru8 50ml set from England........$95 after shipping......Been well over a week and still haven't seen it even though it was received in the US a week ago.
Svee ... serious question no joke. I am getting ready to aribrush an old spunker that I used to know on me Mexican made Strat. Me question be can I combine Sharpie pemanent marker colors for the facial details along with the airbushing of the wider parts? She was a bit of a slag so I don't want too many details. Thanks in advance mate. Long live Wales!
@afar1 lol. NEVER use a sharpie mate. Never ever eveeer! They dont hold up. Over time they fade. There was a Lamborghini done with sharpie a few years back and the sun made it all fade away to nothing. Days and days of work just vanished. Sharpies are good for writing on stuff but they have no place in the world of custom painting.
@afar1 Just to add to svee's response, sharpie's are acetone based, so they will not be compatible with the same products as the water-based paints that he shows us. They will also destroy any water-based color they come in contact with.
I really love the Trident paint, couldn't agree more about the black though. it realy is BLACK. I think I will mix up a bottle of reduced black so i won't have to reduce every single time
@svee They are used for model painting but you probably can use them for any thing . They come in 17ml dropper bottles and there are about 150 colours to choose from and costs about £1.75 per bottle.
As you might know Vallejo is a very famous fantasy artist. Just google Vallejo model air paint and you will find Vallejo web site.
@TheRocketSilo That is actually completely incorrect. As in, couldn't be more wrong. It is different from Createx from the ground up and gives different performance and results. Have you actually used it?
Hi svee, hope your xmas and new year went well, especially having your dad with you. Anyway thanks for another vid m8, I have been looking at buying some Trident Paint but have been hanging back a bit as their has not much info been arround really untill now. Thanks again m8 appreciate it.
@afar1 Never tried one of those mate but i own a Badger patriot and krome and they are both great airbrushes. You cant go far wrong with Badger in my opinion ;)
holy shit you've got some serious talent
