oOEmanOo if you spray a favorite perfume or body spray into a brush and run it through your hair it won't smell like fire. It shouldn't in the first place tho make sure ur using a heat protectant or put it on a lower heat setting because u could be frying ur hair. Hope that helped!

@oOEmanOo First, use a heat protector. Usually, that will do the trick. If not, I would check your straightener. Sometimes, the plates are a) dirty. b) getting old. c) not good/cheap. Those are usually the cause of the smell. If the smell still persists, I recommend spraying perfume after you've straightened your hair or leave in conditioner before you straighten.

and as far as breakage you should try a conditioning treatment to help rehydrate your hair which will help it be less prone to breaking on the ends, and a really good trim will do the same

@31vballforever Its frizzy. look at the before and after result, the camera probably doesn't show it as much. My hair is naturaly straight when its straightened its realy shiny and defenitly silky smooth, i use tresemé shampoo / conditioner and pantene pro v. shampoo every time i shower ^_^

This message is intended for anyone thinking of spending the $500 to $900 for the BioIonic Hair Straigtening system. It doesn't work. I did it and my hair is toast! Drier than ever. I was told it would be silky smooth, never kink or frizz, shine, and be straight. I was told I wouldn't have to use the BioIonic blow dryer or flat iron, but did need to buy the bioionic shampoo and conditioner. That I could use any drier. LET ME TELL YOU, YOU DO have to flat iron. Don't do it! It's a ripoff!!

im a hairdresser and the more times you run the straightener through your hair the more breakage and damage you will have. run it through once and much much slower as you say. also your not going right to the ends properly.

i hve some advice for you on your flat iron. to stop the snagging, you should get a damp cloth and then just whip the ceramic plates. because there is alot of chemicals that you may have put in your hair and it gets all sticky and it pulls.
