Hi. This is a great song, but the lyrics that the song lyric services provide for it are inaccurate. Here are several definite corrections, plus one I'm not sure about:
Line 2: "cut" should be "gut"
Lines 7 and 23: "in a face of scars" should be "in a place [?] that's 'cause"
Line 9: "grow" should be "cuddle" [twice]
Line 10: "I sure you do" should be "I'm sure I do"
@svenyargs Hey, I really appreciated your interpretation of her words, I was never satisfied by the lyrics hosted on most websites. I'm still not convinced by line 9 though. I'm not a native English speaker and my ear may most definitely betray me, but isn't she using some phrasal verb, such as "call out" or "call up" (even though I don't know what that means)?
