I just have a question about the lighting, on the keyboard i see it has every color available. Is that a special option or do you just get to choose which of the colors you like and then change the whole keyboard to that color. I ask because on the website when you order one it makes you select which color you want and it doesnt show a rainbow option. I wasnt sure how to word the question but I hope you understand, thank you and nice video

@hpfc123 Okay soo if you get any kind of Alienware like the m11x, m15x and the m17x you can change all the lighting .. you can change any color of anything they can even be flashing or just slowly changing color (:

Dont get me wrong I didnt mean to come off like the alienware is a bad decision because its not man its Alienware! But in my situation I needed the xtra cash for software etc not the cool effects.

I would have gotten the alienware if I was cashin outta control lol! Because hdmi in is sick I dont do much pc gaming more 360 :)

I was going to get this.. Then I found the dv7tqe for 1000 cheaper with better specs.

Dont get me wrong but with the m17x you pay for the lightable keys command center and the hdmi in.

Go to HP and customize both and play with specs to see

@DubstepEra I did comparison and the price was more than the Alienware for what I got with the M17x. Not sure how you got 1k cheaper considering anything 3D with 120mhz 1900x1080 screen runs over 2k. You are not comparing apples to apples.

Hp had a 30% off discount a while back. I ended up not getting the hp and went with a asus g73. The only thing the alienware was beating was the lightable keypad and the HDMI in. So I decided to meet halfway and go with the G73 to get the lightable keys and same specs for around the same price. I would reccomend it highly to anyone laptop shopping. Alienware m17x is cool to, but if you want to save 600$ and 4 pounds weight the g73 is amazing.
