In blake's 7 for me Servalan the arch-enemy was a better villain than Travis ever was. Travis was nowhere near as good or as powerful a villain as Servalan she outlasted him . and outlived him. It was a damn shae Servalan was omitted from the last ever episode, she should have been there and she should have shot Blake dead and then got shot dead by Avon. I did not like the way Servalan who was the arch-enamy was left out of the series at the end it was wrong all round.

NuWHO is just a soap opera with the WHO trademarks thrown in, with forced humor and agenda shoving, complete with a lame attempt to look and sound like a big hollywood movie each week. Right down to vapid, poorly scribbled storylines... people love the shock jock nature with the sheer quantity of daleks at the end of each year, but there is 0 substance. Give me 70s BBC Sci-fi any day, by comparison!

I'm a HUGE Star Trek fan, a HUGE Doctor Who fan, (of the classic and the new) and AN ENORMOUS FAN of BLAKES 7 --- But even I KNOW that Star Trek and B7 are no where near in the same league! B7 is my favorite kind of sci-fi - pure fantasy/adventure. I wish the new who would have more fanrtasy/adventure stories like the classic series did. None of that gay humor, or paniky people running through Cardiff all the time, or billions of Daleks filling the sky....just TRUE WHO would be nice
