I'm thinking about getting a telescope. An AstroMaster 70 EQ Refractor. I was thinking in order to take footage or photos, it would have been listed as a feature on the box of any telescope. However,I am seeing more and more videos of amateur telescope views and was wondering how everyone is doing it? Is a webcam/camcorder placed to the viewfinder?
@AcrossTheRiverStix By checking planetarium software. Where planets, moons and a very large selection of other solar system objects is calculated to the point where we know where everything is at any given time. In the case of planets we can wind back time by tens of thousands of years and be nearly dead on on exactly where all the planets and their moons will be.
