Do you think the people are ready to vote the direction and changes a Politician does with this new system which empowers all the constituents the voters of that location. To tell their politician from the Majority Vote Party what to do by logging into the website and simply voting any and all changes laid out in a simple format updated daily for those to vote the changes. Our politicians in The Majority Vote Party have no power only follows the greatest majority on a poll vote from the website.
I think that the problem is that some people in Taiwan lacks basic education. Even if they have a university degree, they don't have good manners. When I walk on the street in Taiwan, there is always some people looking at me (a white person) like if they saw a ghost. They don't know that it is not polite to stare at people. Even when they drive, they would slow down or stop to stare at you. It happens almost everyday. This is just an example, from many examples.

According to my comparative politics professor, this sort of thing happens because legislators have gotten sick of political games (ex: calling a vote on an issue while the majority of the opposition is absent, voting to delay an issue so it's never talked about and so doesn't have a chance of passing, etc).
When it doesn't happen often, it's usually because there are informal agreements about what is and isn't an acceptable ploy. It has nothing to do with a country being "backward" or not.
Don't give a fuck about democracy; a simple solution to parliament fights is abolishing democracy. Don't you know it's idiocracy, don't you know society doesn't have the predisposition to vote as it's uneducated on politics...?

While I too disagree with the DPP and their incompetence, I suspect many (not all, but many) Chinese nationals are just jealous their one-party Parliament isn't nearly this entertaining. :)
Besides, it's one of the few times I've seen politicians actually look as though they give a damn about something.

I told some women from Taiwan that I thought that their legislator was the best in the world for its fights and once the realized what I was talking about (I guess legislator wasn't an english word they ran into very often) they were all like "No, it's not democracy, it's embarassing our nation and it's wrong"

DDP is the barbarian political party in Taiwan. Most fights are just media shows and could not get anything done. DDP's purpose it to break down the parliament and to show they are brave in fighting against major party KMT.
