Yeah, but that's the thing dude... maybe I'm just old fashioned, but I am of the strong belief that any guy who uses violence on a girl is committing far more heinous a crime than a girl using violence on a guy. NOTHING justifies a man acting violently towards a woman. You are right and that is how most of us were raised. However, now in the US the legal system has become so biased in the other direction that there is virtually no protection for men who are abused. A woman is free to do pretty much whatever she wants without repercussion and if the man reports it to the police he will more than likely just be laughed at. If the man even defends himself, it is likely that it will be him that goes to jail.
