  • Actually it was my intention to show her progress from starting with serious kickboxing until she became good enough to win consistently and then win a title. She surpassed our biggest expectations by finishing with the year by winning a National Title Belt. As a result of that we have been invited to another very large National event on 3/1. If you start at the bottom you can follow her progress quite clearly through the year up until Nov.3rd and the Title. Thanks to everyone. TMS & Cobra

  • What I really like about her is that she takes advantage of the front kick. Constantly spacing the other kickboxer away while kicking the wind out of her. Kills two birds with one stone and I only see really good fighers use that tactic. I wish the best of luck, keep kicking ass.

  • lotsofbeer, thank you for your observations, compliments and well wishes. This was a good fight, actually a turning point for Cobra as after this her trainer and myself (co-trainer and father) decided she was ready for bigger things, and she was. I hope you checked out the top two videos which is Cobra winning a National Championship on the first attempt against an experienced fighter she took apart. Thanks again-TMS and Cobra Too!

  • I Like kickboxing, because a 14 year can dominate a 21 years :-)

  • Indeed, I feel the same way. We have another National Fight coming up on March 1st, so stay tuned. TMS and Cobra too!

  • i have only just found these videos and i think there great

  • Thank you for your support. Why don't you take a look at the two "Championship" videos at the top, see what you think of those-Thanks-TMS

  • has she knocked anyone out male or female

  • A few times during training, all male opponents, once the same fellow three times in two rounds until he was unable to continue she only had two female fights before she won the championship November 3rd, 2007.

  • Good kick at 5:53! I like the fact that you take advantage of having long legs and use the front kick efficiently. How tall are you anyway? On the other hand, i think you need to work a little bit more on your upper strenght, beacause you have a great technique and landed a lot of punches, but they are missing some speed and power.

  • Hey, thanks for your input and support. However, I think you maybe missed something her kick count alone was thirty per round.

    Thanks, TMS

  • Sorry, i thought i was wrtting to her. And no, I didnt miss it. I was talking about upper strenght, Im not saying anything about her kicks.

  • No need to be sorry, not everyone's opinion is going to be the same, nor does everyone see the same thing-that is the nature of the sport-and BTW, you are talking to her (me). Both my father (and co-trainer along with my two Sensei) and I always review every single message we get and try to reply to every comment with merit. Respectfully, Cobra

  • oh ok, i got confused about that, at one moment, i didnt know who i was talking to. I said sorry because English is not my native language and you probably misunderstood something that i wrote before ;)

  • Anapinky, thank you for your continued support I am glad you enjoyed the fight. Check back soon as we will be releasing the US Championship fight I had on 11/3 in the next week or so when the private viewing is complete. I think you will like it too! Thanks again, Cobra.

  • Wow that was an amazing fight! I really enjoyed watching it! She has some amazing kicks that look like they just dazed the other girl! Wow great job.

  • Cobra threw 85 kicks that scored in the three rounds, this was her oldest (21) and most experienced fighter she had faced, her bio said 7 yrs. exp. They did not think a 14 yr. old was going to bite so fast and hard. Thanks again-Next a National Show in Nov. USA` Championships- TMS

  • Good head-kick at 4:12:) And Cobra landed so many good blows that I lost count!

  • Pecherin, I agree this was her best showing especially since this was a much bigger venue in the "adult" division. She has continued to improve as she is training hard and learning new things while still working on mastery of others while as you know will take a while. I did get confirmation from her trainer that we will be going to compete in a National Competition on 11/3, The USA Classic Championships, time to step up to the plate and take a swing. as always thank you for your comments-TMS

  • Percherin, BTW, the count on the kicks was (scoring kicks) was 26 Rd.1, 28 Rd.2 and 29 Rd.3 for an estimated total of 83 scoring kicks in the 3-2 min. Rds. The punch count would be much higher I imagine, I have been to busy to check that. She had another fight after this one and she is fighting this -9/21-Friday night VI the last of the six fight series. Cobra will have had four fights in less than 2 months- we will finish for the year in Nov.-Thanks Again- TMS

  • The Best of Luck for the next fight, and I do look forward to seeing that one!!

  • Percherin, As always your continued support is appreciated! TMS and Cobra Too!

  • tmsatterfields keep on work,u arae good trainer:) i think after 1 or 2 fight with boys she will enter the female division of kickboxing like a storm. good lucks dude, take care

  • Sforza,Thank you for your words of encouragement, I think you my be right. However, I know for certain we will do our best not to disappoint- Thanks - TMS

  • Great Fight, the tall girl (Cobra I assume), is talented and moves well. She certainly dominates this fight for certain. How long has she been training? RD

  • We do not the moment know for certain who will be Cobra's next opponent for the 9/21 fight. However, after that we hope to stick with female opponents. The fights are different and in a tournament there are no mixed gender fights I am aware of. Thanks TMS

  • Great job Cobra. She is definately showing progress. The jabs and high kicks were more effective and frequent than in the past fights. I think she should focus on developing more power in her strikes to do greater damage to opponents in future fights. Who/when is she fighting next? Perhaps pitting her against a male opponent her age would be interesting to see.

  • Kups, thank you. Yes the progress through the videos makes an interesting comparison as you can clearly see in most from one to another. Your assessment regarding power is correct, except she already has the power, we are focusing on delivery technique at the moment, but we are still working on more power too, she is lifting weights now as well. Cobra's next Fight is on 9/21.- Thanks TMS

  • Quite an impressive performance, surely while considering the difference in age and experience. Much more dynamic than the previous fights. Congratulations! Keep on kicking!

  • whotube89, Thank you for your support and your comments, I hope we can count you on the "support team". Over the next few months we are going to be working on a new website with interactive features and hopefully start a small forum for serious fans, especially those who are also working their way up as well. We will also have some training articles and guest appearances. However at the moment our time is spent getting prepared for the last two fights of the year, 9/21 and 11/2-3.-Thanks- TMS

  • Sure, it would be nice to be on the support team. I hope to put some video's online myself in the future.

  • Thank you,

Your time and support are appreciated.

    Cobra and TMS

  • wont she fight with boys again?

  • sforza1903, whoever steps up to the plate and she is told to fight, that is who she will fight, male or female to date has made no difference. However, in tournament competition they do not allow mixed sex matches that I am aware of. Hopefully, she will soon start out on that circuit and then Girls will be it.

    Thanks-TMS

  • we of COURSE saw how much experience was shown here. CObra MORE than deserves this win. but i'm sure that little trip she took probably bothers her even now (I know how that feels when it DOES happen) and even if it wasn't counted against her.

  • Actually, GreenK4 - it did not bother her at all. She is as tough mentally as she is physically, so she got up and went right to work. It was however, her first slip, and therefore the first time to feel the canvas. She was well in control and with her fight on 8/24 that will be 3 fights in one month, all wins. Thanks for you support, TMS and Cobra

  • Great fight. Those kicks kept the other girl from getting any momentum! REally good fight for Cobra.

  • Thank you Rick, it was a good fight and Cobra showed she was indeed learning every fight. This was a much bigger promotion, more pressure etc. She really showed style here and surprised some important people with this performance. She has also completed another fight on 8-24, making three fights in one month, all wins. The next and last in the six fight series is 9/21. This fight was by special arrangement. Thanks again-Cobra and TMS

  • Brother,

Another great effort from Cobra. On technique, Cobra wins hands down. I don't know how committed the opponent was, but that didn't look like a fighter with 7 years experience. Looks like a brawler. good fight though. give her a cheer from us down under..well done.

  • Eddie, thank you for coming over. I can't say about the 7 yrs that is what her fighter bio says 21 yrs old and seven yrs. But she was a brawler for certain as you can plainly see the limited tool-set she brought to work with. She would just back up and charge again, and take another kick and/or punch and then repeat.Truthfully, Cobra possessed the power to KO her just not the presence of mind to execute stepping off and driving the straight right in and that would have been it. TMS an Cobra Too!

  • Remember friends, Cobra is 5 mo. past her 14th BD, and not quite to the halfway point of her second(2) yrs. of training. This opponent was 21yrs with her bio listing 7 yrs. exp. and undefeated. This is quite a gap, they sought us out for the match, we took it on two weeks notice, it had only been 2 wks. since the last fight, and as of 8-24 she fought 3 fights in one months time. Cobra landed at least 83 scoring kicks in the three rounds, and at least 2-1 in punches, she really stood up here.-TMS

  • Thank you for your comments and I understand as to the verbiage. However, in this case it applies as Cobra was pitted against a much older and supposedly at least, much more experienced fighter. Her opponent did not hand her anything, what you saw was a fighter with an very limited tool-set to work with, if she could not punch Cobra in the head, that was it. Cobra connected with at least 83 scoring kicks in three rounds 29 of which were in the 3rd. It was a fast paced fight.Thank you again.TMS

  • It was a great fight for cobra!! For 7 years of experience cobra's opponent didnt seem to know mutch.

  • Thanks, Warguy. It was a fast paced fight, but Cobra was hammering those kicks home wasn't she, Ouch!

    TMS and Cobra too!

  • Yeah. I'd say it's pretty obviouse who was in the drivers seat that fight. A good win. But the opponent. Hmmm from where I'm sitting it didn't look like someone with 7 years of experience. Not even like someone with 7 years of training experience. Maybe she's a slow learner. Eitherway, good win.
