that is some damn nice shifting! the 675's to my knowledge dont come with a slipper clutch, but my oh my you make those downshifts look easy. nicely done!
You go very well and triumph throws strong, these with the original engine? without no component of kit? I suppose that only you take race exhaust system, race air filter and re-mapping of the Ecu.
Riding very poorly? Holy smoke! I thought you rode really well. I just bought a 2008 675 and I am waiting for spring and the first track day of the season. Cheers
Interesting comment. I've only ever ridden this bike and one other on track, can't speak for other 675s, but I've not heard that they understeer at all!
How can you tell that's it's actually understeering from a video?
I was riding very poorly, carrying an injury that meant I was struggling to turn the bike, hence missing a lot of appexes and getting on the power rather late! Would that explain what you seem to be seeing?
I'd be interested in more detail on why you think it's understeering?
dont get me wrong, im not knocking you're riding or anything, and it makes it even more impressive the fact you were riding injured, but it just looks like that once you've tipped the bike in, it just seems to run wider and wider, but as you said, its probably to do with your injury. lovely sound though.
Fair enough, I was more curious than taking it as a knock, as a club racer with some success I'm always looking for things that need improving that can help me and maybe you had picked up on something that I hadn't, you're obviously observant, but I didn't know your bike setup knowledge, maybe it's my riding whilst injured but maybe it's something worth looking at next time I'm rirding ;-) Cheers.
If I had an understeering bike I would try either less rebound on the rear, more rebound on the front or a combination of both. I'd only adjust one at a time and see how it feels after each adjustment.
nice riding dude!
