I don't think Indians are directly related to Armenians. But Persians are somewhat related to Armenians... so that's how the linkage goes.

Even in 1988 when war broke out when Azerbaijan attacked Armenian region of Karabagh, Pakistan was aiding Azerbaijan with millitary hardware. the outnumbered Armenian forces ended up winning the war against all odds anyhow.
