Probably, but since Godzilla is already mutated when they get back, it may have already happened, and that this is in fact the second Godzilla and the one that attacks in 1954 is another Godzillasaur. The other one was on the island when the bomb goes off. We could assume that the people in the conference in this movie are in a time bubble because they talk about Godzilla, as if he existed at some point.

I could be missing something, but Destoroyah came from the weapon they used to destroy the original Godzilla right? Since baby Godzilla was in this movie, this links the movie to Space Godzilla, and then to King Ghidorah and, Godzilla vs Biolante. So since the Original Godzilla didn't exist due to the King Ghidorah movie, wouldn't the weapon they created to kill the original Godzilla would not have been used, and therefore possibly not create Destroyah?

@OmegaTsunami There's this article at SciFi Japan that explains it, but the tl;dr version is this: essentially GvKG didn't alter the timeline so much as ensure things played out the way they did. The first Godzilla is a seperate entity and the Godzillasaurus from the flashback mutated into the same Godzilla that surfaced in 1984. When the sub went looking for him, he just happened to be wandering around the area, which explains why he was already Godzilla when the sub found him.

If you watch the movie, note that they use a building to act as G-Force headquarters. Even though it really doesn't amount to anything, they probably used a hospital. By slapping on the G-Force sign they made it look like a real headquarters. Also, the use of what could be helipad and borrowed helicopter: which would make the location more probably a hospital. It appears for a few seconds but like low budget movies across the board, probably used a location outside of Tokyo because it was easie

Radiation increases the Godzilla monsters power, causing the babies growth to accelerate and Godzilla to become Burning. When Godzilla died he let off alot of radiation, so it healed the dieing baby and caused him to become a full adult.

My feelings: When godzilla Jr. was "killed" It was extremely sad to see the dieing father trying to revive him and then go bat shit crazy and go after Destroyah. Then the ending to where godzilla realeased his final breath attack was freakin insane. Also when the energy revived the Son it was to be the making of the Godzilla Milllenia franchise.

Godzilla should really have ended with this. Also i heard that America was given rights to do another Godzilla film sometime in 2013 -2015 (Wikipedia).

I've always wondered why in Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee, Destoroyah looked like such a colossal hodge-podge of crazy shit. You'd think that they'd try hard to make him less overkill, but no. He's as fast, possibly FASTER than most of the monsters, despite being bigger and fatter than all of the monsters. Also, his RAGE special move is the strongest; he fires a huge purple flame into the sky, and it homes on you and explodes, leaving a massive square of fire.

The guy completely forgot to mention that because Destroyah was made from Micro Oxygen, that they discovered at a certain freezing temperature it kills the MO molecules. That is what those beam weapons are, freezers. Because Godzilla had weakened Destroyah, the military took the chance to stop it from flying away and killed it in its weak state, freeze and kill.

@Swampert384 It's available dubbed on a Double Feature DVD with Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla. The only thing about this DVD that I have a problem with is that it's a single-disc package which means that there's a movie on each side of the disc. Other than that, it's a dynamite DVD, only there's no special features, then again there never is. I hope this helped.
