the differece is that a short ski is just a normal old slalom ski but snowblade/skiboard is mutch wider and they are mutch more like smal twintip's and i don't think the shoos well fit. ; P

Actually short skis or "funcarving" skis are short skis with a deep side cut, and a very short radius, they are very different form typical downhill skis. Snowblades on the other hand have a dynamic are even side cut that it very shallow, or a long radius typically around 22m. Both are much easier to turn and control....... Kinda cheating in my opinion. Get some balls get real skis.

Last I checked, skiboarding and twin-tip skiing have a shared history. Most of the freeskiers you all love, started off with skiboards. This was in the X-games for 5 years, and then all the riders started twin-tip skiing, so I guess what I'm trying to say to all the twin-tip skiiers out there doing big air.......Your welcome! : ]

Been using "Short-skis" that's what I call them! For about 7years, i don't do many tricks with them but i can fly down the hill very fast with total control and moguls are so much more fun with them. best $15 I have ever spent Haha garage sale!

For high speeds I would go for some carving skis because snowblades gets very unstable at high speeds.

But they are great fun for goofing around :-)

snowblades are extreme good/fun for off-pist and moguls cause of the control. If you'll buy snowblades/skiboards buy twin-tips!!!!!! that way u can show off some more moves on the halfpipe, quarterpipe etc. ;D ps. they are wery easy to use if u can skate(hockey skates ore regular skates)
