@gilesnadie Hi there if you look on Amazon you will be able to find the individual releases if you don't mind buying second hand you might be able to lay your hands on them lot cheaper
@KYLEROB19 Cheers dude im looking on amazing for the full boxsets :D, dont really want to spend £100 on dvd's afterall i have a bit of foggy in me i think ;)
woo hoo! this is coming out on dvd hopefully later in the year.
i have all previous series on dvd. Semour is pretty good and i enjoy him. Blamire is a bit boring and is sort of up himself. but foggy is just simply the best 3rd man, he never fails to make me laugh and he just fits in perfectly.
i also can't wait for series 13 to be released on dvd as that series was shot completely on videotape therefore outdoor scenes look as if they were only filmed yesterday
Too bad Semour had to leave now i would have seen at least one ep with both Semour and Foggy together to see wut that would have cooked up.
BTW KYLEROB19 where is all the Semour eps of urs. My earlyest memory of last of the summer wine is the ep where he invents a car that can go trough waters.
The ironic thing is that only two people are now still alive out of the originals. Seymour (Michael Aldridge) died in January 1994 long before the other main actors of the show. The two people are Ivy and Cleggy. How come we rarely see Ivy these days? Has Jane Freeman got health problems I wonder? I've always liked Ivy. She's funny.
Clegg and Ivy are my two favorites...most people seem to love Compo and Nora, which I do, but Clegg and Ivy are my tops. She's dangerous with a tray, and He's always got something witty to say. <3 Peter Sallis will be sorely missed when he's gone.
Ivy isn't seen much anymore not that Kathy Staff/Nora Batty is gone and Edie is gone as well so the Ladies Coffee mornings ended and the Cafe isn't used as much anymore.
You can get series 1 - 21 in a boxset now on the internet for bout £100 buyin when i have the money :D

Interesting that they went to the trouble of giving Seymour a proper on-screen send-off, rather than just vanishing between series.
Seymour grew on me over time but Foggy was one of the trio when I first started watching, so he was always my fave.

I think Foggy's much more funnier than Seymour. I like Foggy when he bores out people with his so called war memories. RIP Brian Wilde.
