  • perfect way for someone to lose a job and a few teeth.

  • What a perfect way to just make time until the rain goes away jejeje.

  • and what year is this car? No power windows? wow your life must suck.

  • @TheYoooth 2008. And I prefer manual windows, because you can open or close them at any time, without needing the ignition on.

  • @vwestlife Because its so much trouble to turn a key 45 degrees?

  • @TheYoooth When it starts pouring rain (like it did in this video) and you need to close your car's windows quickly, then yes, needing to find, insert, and turn your ignition key is an unnecessary annoyance and delay.

It would be much better if all cars with power windows let you open or close all the windows simply by holding the key in the unlock or lock position in the driver's door, like you can do on Volkswagens, but most other brands do not have this feature.

  • @vwestlife Ok and what if you front window and one of your rear windows were open when it started to rain? Like if someone in the back seat left it down, that seems like more of a delay then turning a key to close both. And fyi there are various car models where you can use the power windows while the cars are off, most are suvs, im just stating Mazda 3 does not have this feature.

  • @TheYoooth If all cars had power windows as good as Volkswagen, then I would not be complaining. In addition to the open/close via driver's door key feature I mentioned, VW also gives you auto-down on all four windows, and 15 minutes of retained accessory power after you turn off the ignition. Mazda and most other brands only give you auto-up/down on the driver's window, and only about 30 seconds of retained accessory power (again, for the driver's window only).

  • @vwestlife well, mazda 3 DOES have an option to close windows by pressing the lock button on key... at least mine does, so I don't know what you guys are talking about...

  • @TheYoooth I drive a 3 with manual windows as well -- the choice was easy. As nice as it is to be able to open all 4 windows on the highway, I've had to replace each window regulator/motor on my wife's car at least 2 times each in the life of the car. At $400 per window repair, it adds-up.

  • shit i have a mazda 3

  • Ah all 4 cylinder cars produced my Mazda or Ford use a Mazda power plant. all 6 cylinder cars Mazda or Ford use a Ford power plant. Dip stick proves nothing.

  • Its a Mazda 3, not a rocket... no way could the change slide out when you floor it...

  • @FueledbyStriker

It happens so god dam often that It pisses me off a lot. I have a heck of a bunch of dollars on the floor panels of my car.

  • only the last commentt freak me out ; ) ,,, yes it is only the chassis the mazda is a better-built car compared to the focus undoubtely

  • mine has power windows. Dudes full of complaints. how is mercedes on the Gay List? What do you want man, a Rolls Royce? Gunna complain about the wood grain?

  • "The owners mammal"

  • manic monday

  • my 3 has power windows, besides I actually used to have an f150. but an asshole ran a redlight and tboned me. so I bought the Mazda 3 5 spedx

  • Mine has power windows :]

  • This is a guide to be a complete fucking asshole, thanks asshole.

  • ever since my friend got his mazda3, thats all ive been telling him. "nice ford u got there" lol.

  • this video should be renamed "how to distract a mazda 3 driver and get both of you in a car accident"

  • what if the display is not lighting up at all, can someone make the hold display go out just to annoy someone>

  • It's not driving a 3 that makes you gay, it's the fact that you are listening to the Bangles...

  • well i own one. damn it lol

  • LOL'd 24hour and celsius is normal for me :D

  • @MonsterCringer yes same

  • hahahahahahahaha

  • where does the door open, key in the ignition Beep-beep........beep-beep......beep,beep come from?

  • @stringcatt comes from a Chime Module.

  • Make the change fall into the emergency brake slot? You do know it's your car right and most likely do not want change inside the console... You have way too much time on your hands

  • Is the little tray by the shifter supposed to be a coin holder? I've never put a coin in there, as common sense tells me they will just slide around (annoying) and possibly slide out. I always throw my coins in the ash tray.

That is a cool spot under the ash tray to hide a card or cash.

Most newer vehicles have combinations of audio/other buttons you can press to do weird things or get into some sort of debugging mode.

Gotta love 24hr clock, that's all I use!

  • Wrap a plastic bag around your head and toss you in the trunk for messing with my car.......

  • these things are avaible for new generation mazda3 (2010) ???

  • @mps2356789 Probably not.

  • @vwestlife i will try... some buttons are same at 2 radios.. i wish i will not fuckk all the settings..

  • Awesome vid

  • Well, I'm not a fan of "tin can" cars, but I think that's some pretty funny shit there vwestlife. Didn't know you were gay either, 'less I'm reading all this comment shit here wrong.. btw, I hate gay bashing cunts that seem to be flocking your way lately.. though I'm not exactly gay myself... more of an "not out of the closet" bi type.. lol. Great stuff mate, keep rolling 'em out, and hope you make some more thrift scores soon, too.. :D

  • wow what a stupid video.........

  • Cool dude, your just funny as all

  • Lol This guy hates his wife

  • @livstar22 Me? No, I play for the other team.

  • @vwestlife what does that mean? youre gay? lol thats pretty good.

  • @KIERANS1993 Yes... I lick the other side of the stamp.

  • @vwestlife do lots of gay guys drive a mazda 3? because i really want one, but i'm not gay and i don't want to send out any gay vibes through my car choice. /serious

  • @bizzle187 Are you really that insecure!? "Gay vibes" are determined by the car's owner, not by the car itself. After all, I know gay guys who drive Mustangs and Camaros and pickup trucks. We just drive whatever vehicle we like best, and I suggest you do the same.

  • @vwestlife are you hitting on me? did you just grab my ass?

i was just asking a question. no need to get all butt-hurt... and yes, pun intended.

  • @bizzle187 You flatter yourself too much. Us gay guys have much higher standards than whatever skanky ho you're probably going out with, so we're not even going to give you a second look, let alone make a pass a you... unless you secretly want us to get in your shorts, which is usually the case with homophobes. So keep your idiotic comments to yourself and just drive whatever you want to drive.

  • @vwestlife relax, its youtube, and harmless jokes. that negative outlook on life will never land you a pretty girl to marry. even if your car is pretty super duper.

you keep driving what you want to drive--- dicks into your mouth. i'll go bang some more skanks. have fun being an affront to humanity you angry little fag. chill the fuck out.

  • @bizzle187 You would be angry too if you had such offensive language and jokes posted on your video. Get a life, and if you can't deal with gay people without making such stupid homophobic remarks, then just leave us alone and keep your thoughts to yourself.

  • wtf what a loser, who does this? y

  • I just made a video on how to efficiently get rid of a person who messes with your Mazda 3. Just add a passenger ejector seat and you're good to go!

  • I'd be pissed if knew Lance Bass drove the same car i did......NPH is much cooler

  • Who has time to come up with this stuff?

  • that's pretty cool...gotta try some of these

  • considering ford owns mazda! or part of it!!

  • its not a ford, just has some ford parts u idiot

  • @marker220 It shares the same chassis and drivetrain with the Ford Focus, you idiot!

  • @vwestlife Same chassis as a lot of cars, it was developed by Volvo... The Mazda3 is based on the Ford C1 Global Platform which wasn't used on the North American focus (Although I think the 2011 Focus might be using it)

  • @vwestlife actually your thinking of the mazda 6. the 3's are made in okinawa, well mine was and is all japanese. and some of the parts might be the same, but it is a japanese car for sure and damn good cars. i want to get a 2004-2008 model one, i prefer that design over the 2010-2011 look although they are sharp too, i think the older ones are more bad ass looking for my style. ;-)

  • @vwestlife Actually, it does but doesn't.

The 3 is based on the 2nd gen Focus while the US and Canada only got the 1st (2001-2011) and 3rd (2012+) generations.

  • lol tell them lance bass owns one

  • Not all the Mazda 3 got manual windows

  • "point out that the odometer and the clock 7 are different" FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • @TheStripesofWhite FUUUUUUUUUUUUU.. ruined my happiness of the car!

  • @TheStripesofWhite

Fuck thats going to bug the hell outta me now

  • I own a Mazda 3, and I've never had my change slide into my ebrake. The audio trick you showed to have the music play out each speaker at a time is pretty cool haha. Useless but cool.

  • Where does the change go from the ebrake? Lol ive lost quite a bit down there.

  • @CustomCars100 If you take off the center console trim cover, you should be able to retrieve some of it. It's not difficult, you just unscrew the shift knob, and then you can pull it up and out.

  • lol, the features are cool, I like how the speakers can go around in circles

  • Was it raining when you did this video

  • @MixerVM Look again at the first 5 seconds of the video!

  • @vwestlife Ya I know

  • sound going in circles would drive me flipping nuts! if I was not the one to do it.

  • Comment removed

  • lol that is great

dont go near a vehicle with sync. it really pissed me off. i dint like it

  • nice job man, great vid, the last bit is awsome. you haven't showed us how you fixed the fuel fliter problem on youre passat

  • this is awesome.

  • wow that last one was funny

  • Great Video 5*'s

  • The Ford engine in that reminds me, the Mini has a Neon engine/transmission.

  • Actually the Tritec engine was used in the PT Cruiser, not the Neon, and only outside the USA. The current generation of MINI uses Peugeot engines.

  • dose or didnt ford have a stake in mazda?

  • @allboutk A decade ago, Ford owned 1/3rd of Mazda, but since then they've sold off some of their share.

  • Haha, now I really want to get a Mazda3 when I get my licence. The things that I don't understand are the features where all the indicators on the radio come on, and the alternating speaker thing.

  • I take it you want to return this car?

  • No, I'm very happy with it! I'm just having fun with some of its quirks.

  • Oh right! You should have been on the pre-release testing team!

  • Haha, wow! I guess those features on the radio are for troubleshooting purposes? That signal meter sounds really useful, though!

    Anyway, cool car!

  • Yes, a lot of modern car radios have these diagnostic features. I just wish there was some way to adjust the stereo blend; this radio plays most FM stations in mono (even when the "ST" is lit) unless the signal is very, very strong. On my VW's radio I found a trimmer on the back to adjust it, and I turned it all the way down so that even weak FM stations play in stereo.

  • Oh man...I didn't know that Mazda3 has crankem wankems!

  • I like it that way!

  • Really? They seem to make cars look cheap. Plus they require muscle!

  • It's better than having to put in the key every time you want to open or close the windows when the car is parked. At least on my VW, though, you can open or close the power windows just by holding the key in the driver's door lock. Most other brands won't do this.

  • @vwestlife Actually, my Mom's VW New Beetle has that feature too.

My Dad's 01 Explorer has a feature that you can do the windows up and down without the key in, as well as use the radio system.

  • Celcius is how it should be! lol

  • You are far more evil than I gave you credit for.

  • If you get in my car and change the thermometer to Celcius and the clock to 24 hours, I'd shake your hand. Mazda are part owned by Ford, everyone knows that. Don't they?

  • Probably not. Most people don't even know that Lexus is owned by Toyota.

  • I suppose so but if you're in England you can sometimes see a Mark 4 Ford Fiesta with a different grille and that car is called a Mazda 121

  • also Infiniti are part of Nissan

  • we have had our share of problems with ford (being former Bronco 2 owners) but our MPV has been one of our best cars. only had imrc issues and a bad o2 sensor but the car has almost 137,000 miles.

also way to annoy a MPV owner if they have the 6 CD changer. select a CD and watch as it snaps all the CDs in the changer and breaks the radio.lol we now have the single disc unit. want a CD cassette unit but they are as hard to find as working 6 disc changer.

  • There is also a cassette player for the Mazda3 but it is extremely rare. It goes in the space between the knobs that says "Multi Function Audio System." Behind that panel is a blank space for either the cassette player or MiniDisc player (even more rare!) accessory.

  • can you answer my question? is this your new car?

  • I've had it since 2008.

  • why the hell do you have a Mazda 3?

  • Too many laughs !!!

  • Thanks for sharing. I might need to use that some day. :-)

  • That's a cool car!

We've also have 50 MPH wind gusts all day, too.

  • It sounds like there's a hurricane passing through outside the car.

  • @cbehr91 Yes, we had very heavy rain today... lots of flooding and road closures.

  • They've come a long way since the Autoalliance-built '93-'02 Mazda 626... which were engineered to last no more than 60,000 miles... otherwise, how do you like your 3?

  • @bbishoppcm So far it's been very good to me. I compared the Mazda3 to many other cars in its class and the only one which was nearly as fun to drive was the Ford Focus -- as you'd except, since the Focus and Mazda3 use the same engine and a very similar chassis. I still love VWs, too, but the new ones are a bit above my price range.

  • @vwestlife I liked VWs up until they became associated with social status and Internet Cafe junkies... I really liked the early diesel models, and I liked the styling of the Quantum and Fox models. My 1997 626 was my second car, after getting tired of dumping money into my 1987 GTI. I hated the Mazda with a passion, but it did save my life, so I have mixed feelings about that car now... i'm now a Nissan man; I haven't driven one I didn't like (so far!).

  • I like the Versa. For the price you can't beat the amount of interior room it has. I drove one of the $9990 base models and was really impressed. It's tuned more for comfort than sportiness, but still not a bad ride -- better than a Corolla or Cobalt, that's for sure.

The Mazda3 is based on the same platform as the Volvo S40 and European Ford Focus, and you can really feel the Euro influence in the way it drives, compared to Mazda's previous Japanese engineered models.
