ive probs missed alot of pwr-ups in the game. i am on the part bomin the nrgy signiture by destroyin anti air turrets. however i cant remember the story line becos i got stuck on a part and stop playing it 4 ages sum1 plz catch me up! and yh i think that metroid prime 3 is areally good game even tho i aint played games 1 + 2 i still find metroid 3 a really enjoyable game. it is very adventurous and challengin and i havent played any halos but they all sound crap metroid is my fav wii game :D :D
Ive been a bit disappointed so far. Im still in the first stage of the game and I liked the Gamecube controls better. Also, the best part of Metroid was the freedom to run around and how you had to do a lot of traveling in the games. I know every nook and cranny of all the Metroids, but like he said, this one is more linear. If I dont get all the power ups by the time I leave a stage, they will be gone.

I agree, Metroid is much more of an explorer game rather than just FPS like halo, you can't really compare. Plus, Halo single player is pretty boring, I hate playing halo single player, I just bought it to play online multiplayer. What they should do is make a better storyline for metroid. Make it really epic. I thought retro studios kinda did a bad job presenting the story and concluding it in prime 3. And pre rendered cut scenes would be cool too.

well i have a 360 and a wii and i love it, i have halo 3, 2, and 1 i love it but metroid tops it all, its an insult to compare a classic like metroid to halo.
Metoid Prime is the best nintendo franchise. I dont think it gets enough credit. And it kills halo2 and 2. The 1st alo was awesome and i enjoyed it a lot, but prime beats it.

I've beaten all the Prime games multiple times on all modes. I like Prime 1 and Prime 2 way better because it's more about exploration and backtracking and making you actually think and stuff instead of just a linear path with enemies.
if you don't know where to go, explore, that's the main point of Metroid. Exploration. But to answer your question you just go down from the plant boss and down the elevator you come to into the lava area.
explore its the point of the game, you should go to doors and areas you could not get to and get new items and the game hint sistem will eventually tell you.

There is an otption that allows you to switch what the A button and B triger do. So you can have A set to jump and B set to shot if you so want to. Personaly, this is the set up that I use.

@TURBOswiftgti Thats not true at all. Halo is far more developed than Metroid. Not in terms of overall development, but as an FPS, halo is much better. Metroid isn't even really an FPS. There is no competitive edge to it at all because it's more about the story. Not that this is a bad thing, but it just doesn't compete on a competitive level with Halo in any way.

If you want single player, get Metroid.
