Before Reno Trench. Amtrak California Zephyr makes Street Level station stop.

Dang nice historical video!

I moved to the Reno, Nevada area in year 2004 and I was able to shoot a hand full of videos of Amtrak and freight trains above ground before the Reno train trench was completed in year 2005. If you cruise by my youtube account you can see a few above ground Reno RR videos.

So Amtrak stops at a different station today?

No they still stop at RENO but the stop is below ground level in what is called the RENO trench. All trains now run below street level.
