Razer Vespula mouse pad overview

I have a scarab BF3 edition mousepad, and my mouse is a mamba 2012 edition, but i get these lags with my mouse when i use it on the scarab, but when i switch to my goliathus i do not get these lags..? wierd, but i´m wondering, do you get any lags with your mamba on the vespula? cos im going to buy that tmorro so i´m just making sure :)

i wasn't satisfied with mine at all. it requires a LOT of space (which may or may not be an issue for you) and the little green nubs that hold it into place get in the way, since it is a "two-sided" pad, so there are pads on the top of the mousepad when you are using it as well. these will screw up the motion of your mouse every time your mouse's cord comes at such an angle. these need to be removable for this pad to even be considered a complete product. also, it's fucking loud.

The fast surface doesnt even track with my death adder the mouse is 3 years old though. The control surface is actually pretty speedy.

Vespula is great. Just have to have a decent mouse and keep your teflon feet in good condition.

@Gaboerz69 I have both Destructor and vespula, the destructor is faster, Vespulaspeed side had scratches after 3 weeks of using. Using a Naga mouse.

gonna buy it so happy that it's medium sized as i lost hope when i found out the desctroctor is way too big and the other mosuepads were either white or filled with pictures i want razer as i will use it with a mamba :)

@LjunGberg4Life Forgot to mention I used a Razer Mamba with the Destructor mousepad. The Mamba is extremely similar to the DeathAdder so I think you could expect similar results.

My two cents about the Destructor, coming from a year of ownership: It's for the SUPER HARDCORE only. As in, people who win tournaments and get money, sponsorships, etc. These people can afford all the maintenance (constant mouse feet replacements, yearly mouse pad replacements).

@LjunGberg4Life Probably Vespula. I've had my Destructor for about a year now, and when I bought it I knew it was prone to wearing down quickly so I took excellent care of it, replaced mouse feet about once a month, etc, and even so, I'm now looking to replace it because it's losing texture near the center. I was hesitant to spend more than $20 on a mousepad to begin with; this makes me feel awful about it. Will probably get a Sphex myself but the Vespula sounds good too.

@whlzdenis so you have to download the driver and the firmware.... i just went into the website and the latest driver is v 2.01(english) but i dont know if i should download the firmwares also

@tmddyd2915 well if you installed the software from the CD then open the software and look at the firmware and driver version. and if there is a newer one install them u can install both of them install anything that newer

i just bought one. this is perfect for those folks woh are used to those small shitty walmart pads, but just upgraded to a great mouse and want a good mousepad, just a little bigger than the crappy fellowes, and walmart brand, etc..

@Deathinnovember if you're wondering if you watn this mousepad. if you got a medium sized hand, with a good mouse, this is perfect :)

its medium sized, so if you set your dpi to something around the 2000's, you should be ok, even 3500 feels right, but 5600 is.. insane, especially with a naga or the wireless one
