It was to show that Oswald was the assassin, not guys on the grassy knoll, LBJ hiding in the trunk, or little green men mistaking him for a cow. As you can see, the shot in-game isn't horribly difficult. Recreating the shot is (as is always the case).

I wish I could find it, but there was a great show by the Discovery Channel that recreated the shot with ballistics gel and did a pretty good job proving that Oswald did it.

@spiderdoug no, don't you see? It IS difficult. Take a look at your ballistics reports and try to line up the shot with the EXACT moment JFK was hit in the footage. There is no way it could have come from that high of an elevation nor angle without hitting the governor's wife. I suspect it was none of what you said. I say from further away BEHIND the president. My reasoning is that the Governor would have to be hit in the back LAST.

@HaloGod1844 No, to prove it wrong. Even with the perfect placed shots, you still see JFK's head jerk backwards, even though the bullet hit from the back of his head. That's just an animation that they made so it would look like the Zapruder film. They made it a thousand points because they knew it would be impossible to replicate what was in the film with only one shooter. So even though it may be 700 points and look like the film, it shouldn't have, anyway, bc his head shuda jerked forwards.

Multiple angles? Of course since the car was moving, angles changed too. Only other possibility for those shots would have been the Dal-Tex building. Frontal shot would have been blocked by other persons. And If that last shot came from right front (grassy knoll) it would have gone through JFK's head straight to Jackie, don't you think? Also, if you listen to news reporters on site, one standing on Houston and Elm said that he heard 3 shots above him. Thats either a Depository or DalTex.

Plus in the 1960's shots weren't as clean and precise as today because of the technology. And Kennedy's head was nearly blown off. If something nearly takes your head off, I'm sure it'll move more than a centimeter. Plus we don't even know what distance the fatal shot came from.

@ruunit here's how it works. the bullet weighed a third of an ounce. even if it had been fired from three feet away it never had the force to move a head (weighing ten to fifteen pounds) back eight and a half inches (the distance of the head snap), no bullet could do that. and when a bullet penetrates the head as this one did, that actually reduces that actually the amount of movement of a strike.  the movement of Kennedy's head is his body's nervous system reacting to the shot.
