Johnny Mathis - It´s Not For Me To Say

I saw him in concert in 1956 and about 1996.

I also went to school with him at SF State, although he left for a singing career just as I

was about to enroll.

Johnny held the world's best mark for jumping over your own head. He was 5' 8" tall and jumped 6' 8" a difference of 12 inches, the best mark in the world about 1954.

He came back to SF State/Coach Ray Kaufman and spoke to the team I was on, answered all questions and

was warm and friendly, as the titles of some of his albums suggest

there are so many different ways to describe this wonderful passionate voice. johnny had a chance to be an allstar football player for san jose state i am the happiest man alive to have been blessed with the voice even the angels might envy i think. johnny is music unparaled to any other kind of music. i pray he goes to heaven in a huge rolls royce with angels flying along side of his machine. johnn mathis has lived such a fruitful and inspiring life we all owe him in the honor of lifetime award

I LIVED ON 12TH STREET IN SOUTH BKLYN AROUND THE CORNER FROM MY GIRLFRIEND NOW MY WIFE DIANE DOLAN WHO AT THAT TIME WAS DIANE PASCONE, WE FELL IN LOVE AND GOT MARRIED. My mum always cry's when she hears Johnny sing, he touches her heart and she cannot help but wipe away a tear or two when he sings, this one is the one of her favourites, when i hear this i think of my mum and all the years gone by when Johnny's voice would sing into our home, love you mum...so very much.
