  • Yes I think so

  • Hi, many greatings to Ueli, he is a very good airtow pilot. What engine is in Bellanca? 240cc?

  • Great video thanks guys.

  • Nice planes. How much did it end up costing you guys to build that glider and tow plane? Looks too big to be an ARF. Im guessing they were around $1200USD each?

  • @cabdolla Hi, the crashed glider costs over € 15.000,- ! The other one is self build.

  • @Visifilm Is that big yellow glider a real airplane that you guys made RC, or is it a really big RC airplane?

  • @cabdolla hi, it is a real homebuild scale 1/2 RC plane!

  • @Visifilm What was the composite glider exactly? Was it the Duo Discus from Hmodel?

  • @Visifilm That's $20 USD

  • who fault was that?

  • Guys video's like these make sure to never put music from others .that is such a waist..and you lose copyrights and cannot make any cash with the video..if you need copyright free music ..just ask -gret and wonderful video guys

  • If you need a real runway for a model.........THEN ITS TO BIG !!!!!

  • It's surprising to see an air-to air where either of the two planes survive.

  • @transdrole No, one of them didn't. You can see the remaining parts at the end of the clip!

  • Thats got to suck!

  • Hope the pilot was okay! :)

  • what's the point in this when you can go gliding for real?

  • @Minidrags well ive done both and they both equaly rewarding, a lot cheaper to fly models and not everyone wants to be up there, sometimes I prefered the models to the full size ,its your own you can have several and building them is fantasticaly rewarding, youn can do things with the models that you cant do with the full size and vica versa, dont know if your question was retorical, but hope this helps answer your question cheers.

  • @atreewithnolife i don't think it's cheaper. That model costs alot more than going on some gliding course.

  • @Rogalik88 yes thats true, but dinging a full size these days is costly, cheers.

  • Your location looks amazing. The closest thing I have is my Aerofly Sim with a similar location

  • man nice landing

  • Umm, SHEESH ! Anybody couId see that it crashed because the piIot was a DUMMY ! ! !

  • who was at fault here?

  • @kondakor1998 - The DuoDiscus

  • What are the odds! Me and my brother try to hit eachother on purpose everytime we fly our old models together. It´s (almost) impossible to knock one out of the skies when you´re not actually in the cockpit yourselve!

  • This video is awesome

  • Get aaght ma fu*king airspace ! :')

  • 1:05 Crash

  • Thig big yellow glider says go out my way or die!!!!!

  • ehy das sieht so echt aus O__o

Also wer das gebaut hat, ist ein Genie !

  • Wär der Zusammentsoß anders ausgegangen, hätte es eine Rhönleiche gegeben.

    Ha-ha.

    Ich weiß, der war schwach.

    Wunderbar gebaut, der Flieger!

  • The yellow Glider is a model of Rhoenlerche II

  • @Rudi146 That's right

  • Comment removed

  • The glider pilot looks like he was sitting on the toilet at 2:07. lol

  • charge it.

  • The bigger, the better, am I right?

  • ha the little glider got boned

  • wow guys! nice rc's sucks about the crash

  • yea, what's up with the music

  • @gminer88 removed by You Tube. Original Dire Straits. That's why

  • @CrAzYlAmPeNsTaNdEr No it's a scale 1 : 2 model

  • @Visifilm

Actually the model is in scale 1:1,4 if I remember correctly.

  • ive flown in that glider in real life a few times...its a flying rock

  • @bajesus666 that's right. I took my first lessons in the 60ths in that plane. Now Iam only flying my Easy Glider pro.! It is a pitty ? Or isn't it?

  • @Visifilm however i did find that thing to be very forgiving unlike high performance gliders

  • @bajesus666 yeah i fly a that glider at cadets its a blast to fly i believe its a swiezer 2-33 pardon me if i wrote swiezer wrong.

  • wheres the boom :(

  • Normally I get pissed off when RC Videos show up in my suggestions without RC in the title, but that is a BIG glider. I have seen people fly in an aircraft significantly smaller than that

  • 1:36 best landing

  • 2:06 Oh the horror!

  • Good day,

for the sake of understanding the rules , since the smaller white glider sees the vintage glider arriving in his danger zone (112.5 degrees on starboard) should he have kept clear? or is it that due to the fact that the vintage glider is in the middle of a turn he has right of way or does he has no right at all to come in the path of the white glider which is holding a steady course?

  • THE BIGGER THE BETTER,get out of the way fool

  • "Grossseglertreffen" wohl etwas zu wörtlich genommen......

  • Bigger Glider FTW! :D

  • Absolutely stunning scenery and airfield. Beautiful gliders and flying skills.

The unfortunate mid-air accident has however, made this video very addictive having to watch it over and over again and again ............. :-)

  • nobody was hurt!

  • i do hope no one was hurt

  • Maybe I'm a bit heartless, but the best thing for me was the internal detail of the wing. All the fabric stitched on just like the real thing! Great workmanship. I met the 'real' aircraft type at Lasham while working as a glider repairer, but never actually got to work on it. I was too busy on Ka 13's at the time.

  • @SuperAviatar No it´s not! You have "a real eye" for craftmanship. That is why it's a great compliment voor the builder, I think!

  • i loled at the music

  • What's the type of the yellow sailplane ?

  • @LangeTribal

    Its a Ka-4 Röhnlerche.Scale 1:1.4 The Weight is 85kg

  • @LangeTribal It looks a lot like scale down of a 2-33a

  • Thats some scary music

  • @CRM09ify Yea I edit I some music from Mark Knopler. You Tube replaced it. So I am not guilty at all and you are right.

  • EJECT! EJECT!!!!!!!!!

  • what happened to the glass glider? what stopped him regaining control?

  • @socommk233 I don't know! By the way: the guy who's flying the glass plane is/was a captain of a Boeing 747 from Swiss Air!

  • @Visifilm The linnen plane also hit the elevator of the glass plane, maybe the controls were damaged?

    1:09

  • @kedrednael Yes I think that is right. It is just the last and final `kiss`of both gliders what damaged the elevator!

  • @Visifilm Swissair has not been flying since 2002.

  • @socommk233 If you look carefully, his elevator/rudder is broke

  • @socommk233 If you watch more closely you will see that the ampenage of the glider is broken. In my opinion the servo's commands to.

  • @socommk233 I think just the sudden change of airflow ripped the elevator off the plane, by the looks of it :)

  • warum setzt man da denn sein kind nicht rein??

  • @MrJoggl weil es abstürtzen könten

  • where is this air field? i assume it is in swiss but where?

  • @gadix11 Yes it´s a military airbase near Interlaken Swiss

  • How big is that glieder???????

  • @MrPenner94 scale 1 : 2

  • Awh, Im so sorry.
