This game clearly is one of the best games of this generation, it's great in every aspect, it's a very full and complete game, if a game deserves a 10, this is the game, and the multyplayer is AWESOME! this game will give you thousands of hours of fun. it's perfect.

call me crazy, but I don't think gears 3 is the last 1, think about it, now there's room to get dom back, with a gears 4, but it's a prequel to gears 1, gears 4 could be all about the pendulum wars and the hammer strikes like just when the the grubs start coming around. it could be fun.  just my idea though.

If you can, try running both games side by side, Gears 3 looks better but like I said, it's not a huge difference. If Gears 2 had a more varied color pallet and slightly better lighting it would be Gears 3 graphically.

When I said that the graphics were virtually the same, I wasn't saying that there hadn't been graphical improvements. The color palette is richer, volumetric smoke, yada yada yada. The point is that while it does look more polished, it's basically the same. If you ran a gears 2 clip side by side next to a gears 3 clip the graphical improvements would be noticeable, but only slightly.

@ClevverGames Uh, Sohinki actually Gears of war 3 uses Epic Games new engine Unreal Engine 2. Also the gameplay and controls are more fluid then Gears of war 1 and 2.

@ShameGamerOfficial This is Sohinki. I agree that people bought Gears for it's multiplayer, and don't get me wrong, I think the Multiplayer in Gears 3 is amazing. What I meant was that the strongest portions of the game in the other 2 was the single player (from a technical standpoint) and with that in mind it's one of the main reasons for playing the 3rd one. Gears 2 horde mode was a blast, and I didn't mean to sound like multiplayer wasn't a big deal. Hope that clarifies things!

Good review BUT the fact that Gears 2 multi-player is still a top 10 XBL title 3 years later says that the Horde & multi-player will be the games biggest draw NOT the single player. `the graphics are virtually the same and the enemies are mostly similar `..0_o..that statement unfortunately puts you in the NOOB category.
